I purchased 2 items totaling $67.76, items stated free shipping, there is no tax indicated, and my credit card was charged $73.77. I requested to return the two items, they stated they would take a return less shipping fees (the shipping fee statement was not transparent at the time of purchase, nor was a dollar amount given). The company stated they would refund me, but only refunded me $******** appears that despite the fact that the shipping line of my receipt states free shipping - they falsely charged a shipping fee. I ordered 3 facial creams on 11/15/2024 and paid $66.31. I never got an email confirmation even though the money was withdrawn from my CC ref # from my CC is ***********************. I purchased online from ********************** for the first time on 8/31/24. I purchased 3 products and they are to be shipped to my home address, which is the same as my billing address. I was charged the standard 6% PA state sales tax PLUS an additional 2% "Philadelphia County Tax." I reside in ************. I inquired with the company (drmtlgy) twice via email, and I was told on 8/31, "I'm really sorry for any confusion on your billing. Taxes go by your address. Our system shows that the local tax rate for your area is 6% and your order was taxed at that rate. For any questions in regards to how the taxes are broken down, we suggest checking with a tax professional. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist you." and on 9/1, "For any questions in regards to how the taxes are broken down, we suggest checking with a tax professional. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist you." No names were given by the folks replying to my messages. I explained that I do not reside in ******************* and that this tax does not apply to me. I escalated through ****** and was told, "As regards to taxes it is best to speak with a tax professional if you like I can give you a one time courtesy credit voucher that will be used towards your next purchase in the amount of $2 we are unable to dispute the taxes on a charge." I made a purchase of an item from this business on 5th June, 2024. It's now been more than 10 days and my order tracking information hasn't updated in more than 7 days. It's clear that the item is lost, and they even acknowledged the delay in an auto-generated email. Since then I've spent a significant part of my working hours trying to send them multiple emails and contacting them through their social media and they've mostly been ignoring me. I got one uncooperative email in response saying that they do not offer replacements to overseas customers, a fact that they do not disclose on their website/ policy pages when taking our money and in fact, offer free international shipping. Another email after hours trying to get an answer from them merely shows tracking info from an unknown and what looks like a fake courier and stating mysteriously that the item is at my "local post office." That is incorrect information as the only postal service we have is ************ not some random company. They also keep showing the same tracking info which clearly indicates that said information hasn't been updated in more than a week. (Last update is from 11th June, 2024 and there's no location for my order) They have also arbitrarily come up with new terms that international items are actually delivered between ***** BUSINESS days, that they conveniently forgot any mention of on their website when offering this service to us. I've mostly received a series of AI generated responses and maybe one human response with zero solutions to my problem, which is either an immediate refund or a replacement. Consumer's hard earned money in this economy is not meant for cash-grab,unethical companies like these that rely on obfuscation and wearing you down to make their money. If you look at Truspilot.com and other websites, you will see countless similar testimonies of customers who've faced similar. This really appears to be a scam and you'll find many consumer testimonies saying that.Initial Complaint

I have purchased products from DRMTLGY before and honestly I liked them. On March 20, 2024 I placed an order to restock a couple of products and to try two new products (0.5% retinol complex and hydra fader). My skin had a terrible reaction to the new products. I do not have particularly sensitive skin so I tried applying them less frequently and more sparingly but nothing helped and my skin was a wreck. So I decided to reach out to DRMTLGY to return them. They have a 60-day money back guarantee. I tried their online return form. No reply. I tried it again a week or so later. No reply. Tried a phone number I found online. Didn't work. Tried their online form a third time and still no reply. These attempts took place over a month. They have completely ignored my submissions as if to run out the clock on their 60-day return window. I have no way to prove that I made these three attempts b/c there is no email receipt for them. Your assistance is appreciated.Initial Complaint

Hi, I ordered some products from this company and had a skin reaction. I had not cancelled the subscription and they sent more.(canceled now) I tried several times to contact them through the "contact us form on their website and chose the "return to due skin reaction' every time I did this I never heard back from the company. Finally, out of desperation, I submitted through the "something wrong with the website' and got a response. They basically said I was out of the return period which of course anyone would be at this stage since they do not respond. they never answered any questions regarding skin reactions etc. I came to the BBB site and noted that there are so many complaints the same as mine! I wish I had checked here first before purchasing as they seem to deflect any blame from skin reactions and ghost customers who complain.
