    Hello, I sent this to *** cooperate 3 weeks in a row with no response. I only paid them to stay in good standing:My name is *************************** and I have been a loyal *** customer for over 6 years. Yesterday I had my money stolen by the owners of the *********** location. I was set to move out 1 day after my storage cycle ended (09/09/2022). I called the location about a month ago to ensure that my payment would be prorated if I overstayed by 1 day. The employee on the line ensured me that as long as there was someone on site I would have no issues moving my items and canceling my membership reiterating that my payment will be prorated.I then proceeded to book a roundtrip flight to ********* for 09/10/2022 to move my items. My sole intention for this trip was to move my items from my unit as I stated to the employee who assured me there would be no issues. I can provide my full itinerary showing that I flew into ********* for less than 6 hours just to handle this as advised by the *** employee.When I asked for my payment to be prorated the owner of the CV location and his wife explained that their agent had not made the proper notes in the system therefore they will not return my money. They stated that since I had already paid for my renewing month that I was in the wrong and that I my payment would not be prorated and that I "should have read the contract" and that since I didnt write down the employee's name that I spoke with they did not believe I even called in the first place.I only booked my flight because they advised me I would be fine to stay an extra day without paying for a whole month. I would have flown down last week if they had told me the truth. I told the employee I was moving out on the 10th and they never put it in the system now the owners are accusing me of lying and basically stole a whole months rent even though my stuff was gone by mid day of the very next cycle day.Please help as I cannot afford for them to take the full $171 from us.
