We bought our microwave and oven combo in January 2024 from Dacor and had it installed. Soon after we started to notice the microwave would randomly stop working. After having a baby in September we started to notice the microwave not working more frequently so we asked dacor to evaluate it since it is still within warranty. They came out and evaluated it on October 28th. The parts came on November 1st. After they left I tested it out and it wasnt working so I called them and they stated that they would keep the ticket open. The following week they came by again to replace another part however during this process something broke so we were left without the use of microwave or oven. We were told this would only be for a few days while they ordered a new part. 1.5 weeks later (without microwave or oven with a newborn baby) they come back with the part but after examining it they tell us this part is defective so we need to wait another week for a new part to come in. I called to complain and ask that they replace the whole unit because I have no guarantee that this is going to fix things and I need access to this with my new baby. It is also their fault that the oven is now not working (previously it was just the microwave). They tell me because I only have one ticket open they will not replace the device until I have had 3 tickets open. I asked if this next repair doesnt work what are they going to do and they said they still cannot replace the unit until 3 tickets have been placed.Initial Complaint

I have a Dacor refrigerator freezer and less than a year ago. I started having issues with the icemaker. I called Dacor and explain the problem. I was having because of the year of the freezer refrigerator. It was not under warranty, which I understood. I then asked for a certified repair company that can fix the problem with the icemaker. They gave me a company called salt life. The gentleman came out charged me for the service call. About 30 days later. The same exact issue happened. I called the gentleman again. *** and he came out. He contacted Dacor and they explained to him what he should do so he did. What was he was instructed to do and that was going to fix the problem. 30 days later. The same exact thing happened so we came out again and replaced the icemaker. 30 days later. Same thing happened and it continued to happen until the service technician said. Unfortunately theres nothing else I can do. Ive done everything I can possibly do so. I contacted Dacor. I have several emails backing this up that they were going to contact me but they never have. Theres a phone number on there. Ive called it several times when I speak with someone they act like this is the first time Ive ever spoke to him and they send me another email afterwards letting me know that Dacor will contact me but they never have so Ive paid between 500 and $1000 to have my icemaker repaired but it is not repaired and I cant get a callback from Dacor. The sales or the service person. *** has been great. He does exactly what Dacor tells him to do, but unfortunately at this point he kind of threw his hands up and said theres really nothing else I can do. Ive replaced it. I fixed it and he will be the one that would also tell you that it is bad. The design is bad and its just not working so I just wanna get my freezer fixed or icemaker.Initial Complaint

Dacor will not stand by the repair of our wall oven. The primary issue is that the hinges do not work on this oven leaving the door partially open creating a potential fire hazard. A repair was attempted but the replacement hinges also did not work leaving the same problem. After numerous calls to Dacor ***************** they refuse to stand by their warranty and do not want to try to correct this dangerous issue.Initial Complaint

Where to begin --- Purchased a high end Dacor fridge in 2023 (manufactured 2022). Dacor is owned by *******.Fridge/******* initially was working great. Then the fridge compartment stopped cooling.******* initally was very helpful sending out a repair guy from atlanta appliance angels. However this process literally took months of back and forth. Setting up appointments and ordering parts. Not showing up and rescheduling throughout the process. Literally every excuse under the moon. Covid, Vehicle breaks down etc. The entire library of excuses. Finally get the first repair and I am told that it was not the issue. Okay so we start the cycle of order a different part and reschedule for repair after weeks of waiting again. So the 2nd part get replaced and also does not fix it. Repeat this process again. Third part comes in and finally it fixes all the issues! ****** works again. Then comes the scary part. The next day I see a puddle of clear fluid like an oil under the fridge and a strange smell inside the fridge (like a chemical). I call to let them know and I am told by the person on the phone that sounds normal and to call back if the fridge develops an issue. Guess what the fridge compartment stopped working again! I am at my wits end here with ******* and Dacor in general. This is pathetic. Now when I reach out to them they (dacor) are running me around wanting the original receipt from the purchase back in early 2023! Guess what I dont have that anymore from the storefront. Ridiculous! The unit even says on the website the warranty expires in ********* of 2024! What a complete nightmare and a joke. I am not sure who to be most mad at - Dacor for wasting my time or Atlanta Appliance Angels for being a fraud and not repairing the fridge correctly!Initial Complaint

Hello My builder installed Dacor kitchen appliances as part of the custom build of my house and included the Gas cooktop and Wall mounted oven and microwave. Thew ************** has nothing but a source of mental anguish and frustration due to multiple breakdowns and inefficient service quality. Most recently I have 2 burners not working on the cooktop and the oven not heating. I am staring at possibly no repairs due to the fact that Dacor since been acquired by ******* has gone down the drain with absolutely no customer service. This is unacceptable as these are not small replacements. I expect Dacor to get my appliances inspected and repaired at the earliest. Thanks.PankajInitial Complaint

We purchased 6 Dacor appliances in February 2023 for our new home. When installing our wine refrigerator we found there was no handle in the box. I reached our to Dacor and they advised they would send one and apologized. Later that day they emailed me again and advised they would not be sending one as the handle was considered an accessory. This made no sense to me as the product has predrilled holes that are visible on the outside front facing door. How could a handle not come with it? If handles are an accessory then there should not be holes in the product. They do have a disclaimer buried in their product specs. I am filing a complaint because the photos and advertisement are very misleading and almost like bait and switch. The product is not advertised with no handle. To me this is like selling a car and after it is paid for advising the fine print says it does not have door handles to get in to the car and you have to pay extra.Initial Complaint

Bought our new oven in March 2020. Had a problem. Not heating 2022 one month out of warranty. Paid $1000 to have a simple problem fixed. Now we have a new problem. Gas smells through the house. *********** and plumbers her with it being an oven problem. Bottom line. Not even 3 years later need a new oven for another 6k.Initial Complaint

I purchased a new Dacor Refrigerator/Freezer which was delivered in late October '22. My freezer stopped working. On June 6, I called to request service. I was told there were only two companies that were certified to repair my Dacor. I got a service number and call the first name which was VSA Repairs Tkt *********** . They came and serviced my Ref/Freezer on June 6, June 19, and June 26. I was told on a recorded line with Dacor ****. Serv that my appliance would be repaired after 3 tries. After the 3rd service I requested a refund. I was told the other repair service needed to see it before that could happen. Service Quick Tkt 417-194-7997 came on July 14. They said they needed a part. They returned on June 19. It didn't work when they left. The service manager was adamant that they needed to keep trying. I had a appointment on the 31st. My unit does not work. I was told over 10 days ago that Dacor decided to fully refund my money and I would receive an email from them. I purchased a Dacor refrigerator from applianceconnection.com on May 8th ($12235.55) and then realized I need to purchased the door panels separately. I placed an order for panels ($1777.41) again on applianceconnection.com for the panels on 5/31/23. The panels are delivered by white gloves service on 6/16/23. We went out of country on 6/16/23 and came back to US on 7/3/23. We hired a ** to install the panels on 7/18/23 and the ** told us the below two panels are defective and cannot be installed. I contacted applianceconnection.com and they said it past 30 days after delivery and then I contacted Dacor. Dacor sent a techinian to come in today and told us they won't replace the panels because 1 it's cosmectic issue and 2 it past 30 days. I cannot accept their reasons because we cannot install the panels now and use the freezer properly, so I don't think it's only a cosmetic issue as they said. Also they need to replace the defective items because it's their quality issue.
