      I have always been a big fan of Torrid, but when I received an e gift card for Christmas that was purchased through legitimate channels (the Torrid.com website) and then was told repeatedly that it had a $0 balance I became very frustrated and feel that this business is running on fumes. I am so frustrated with the customer service--repeated transfers and "holds" that resulted in representatives not returning. I have never been so frustrated with customer service in my life.

      Very poor skills at managing the company inventory as well as customer service. The hold time is obscene and when you do get to speak to someone all they do is say sorry and ask if you want to cancel your order. No assistance is given

      Ive been a customer for in-store and online purchases since 2012. I recently placed three orders since October-November. A couple hundred dollars each. One of the orders I never received. I placed multiple calls (where I was on hold for 25 to 45 minutes each and still never received a person). One of the items in my order was the wrong size. I try to reach out to exchange it for another size, but was unable to get through to the customer service team via phone. I called multiple times and waited on hold both during the week and on the weekend.I need it this item for an event I was going to, so I just re-ordered it even though it was spending another almost $100. This one got lost in the mail and I did not receive it until after the event. I sent the emails to every customer service email including the ones on the website and the ones in the emails that you receive for confirmation of your order. I have not received one response except for the auto reply. Its been over a month since I had originally tried to reach out. Very disappointing.

      They require you to sign up for their loyalty rewards program in order to get refunded which is ridiculous and seems unethical.

      Quality is hit or miss, mostly miss these days. I've spent tons of money there over the years and the prices go up but the quality has gone down. Good luck getting a refund when you make a return. I'm in the middle of a dispute on my credit card for a refund of $243 they owe me. I sent proof they received the package, received an email it could take 14 business days for the refund (website says 1 to 2 weeks, no business days mentioned) and here it is a month later and still nothing and now they are no longer answering my emails. They've lost me as a customer and I want my money back.

      Returned almost $250 worth of clothes (7 items) all in the same box. They claim they only received 6 of those items...they tell me this after a one-hour chat. So now I am out $41.47. Disappointed in the lack of return capabilities. I will never shop here again.

      Their customer service it terrible. I have never had another company just flat refuse to help. They "claim" on their end that there is no way for them to modify your order, which seems insane to me. I placed an order and immediately realized that though the billing address auto populated correctly, my shipping address did not. I called immediately, less than 5 minutes after order placement, to get assistance and was met with "there is nothing we can do on our end". So now I get to wait until my order is out of pending status and get a tacking number, then have to contact the company shipping it to hopefully get things corrected. But don't worry, they are going to take the money regardless of if I end up receiving the product or not. I have NEVER been so dissatisfied with a company model before. Nearly everything is digital now, there should be absolutely NO reason a company cannot make modifications to an order before it is even ready to be shipped! Absolutely make sure before you place an online order that EVERY single thing is correct, because apparently once you hit order they can no longer help you.

      I have returned items twice once in June once in August and I have yet to be refunded my money. I dont understand what is going on Ive been buying from them for about 10 years now and I have never experienced issues until now. Ive contacted customer service and they have been no help to me. REFUND MY MONEY!!!

      I placed an order and used my torrid credit card. Once the bill came in I paid the balance. My order never arrived. When calling customer service they said I would have to call DHL since that is who delivers for them. I explained that DHL takes the initial package but transfers it to ***** per my tracking info. The rep then tells me that Im correct it does transfer, again states she can do nothing and I need to contact the shipping partner, which I advised I had already contacted DHL and was told to contact torrid customer service, as DHL refused to investigate since it hadnt been 10 days past the delivery date. Then the rep tells me the items I ordered are out of stock so i cannot reorder. Then in another breath she tells me they can credit the card used to pay for the items or resend the items. I asked if she was talking about the items she told me 2 minutes ago were sold out. Then she tells me she can try to reorder them or I can choose items of the same price. I refused choosing anything new because I wanted what I ordered not other stuff I will never wear. I have already closed my torrid credit card due to the inefficiency and trouble Comenity has caused, this was right after I paid it in full. Still Torrid refuses to issue a refund unless it goes back to the torrid card- which again is paid in full and closed. When I asked how I would get that credited money back she told me it would just be a credit and Id have to purchase from them to use it. I advised the card is closed and cannot be used at which time she refused to help and told me there was nothing she can do and hung up. So they can take my money but not issues refunds, not provide products and not provide a solution for their awful customer service and delivery issues.

      I have ordered from them several *********************** and NOT ONCE have I ever received everything I originally ordered. They cancel multiple items from my order and it ALWAYS seems to be the best items that I've managed to get at a really good deal. It's lead me to believe that they intentionally do this. They lure you in with almost impossible deals, then cancel those items and leave the items that you probably never would have initiated an order on in the first place. They offer no consolation for the inconvenience or repeated offense and have an attitude of, "Oh well! Better luck next time getting the things you actually really wanted from your order!" Because this has been a repeated problem, they're obviously not trying to fix whatever the problem is and are 100% ok with doing this to their customers, which only strengthens my belief that this is being done intentionally. I will not be conducting any further business with them and highly encourage others not to as well. They're not a reliable company at best and appear to be intentionally deceiving their customers.
