    Pre-Paid Maintenance plan refund. On March 9, 2024, I purchased a Forester from Serramonte Subaru. Within 72 hours of acquiring the vehicle, on March 12, 2024, I returned to the dealership (in person) to cancel the pre-paid maintenance plan ($2400) and was assured by the finance manager, ****, that my refund would be processed between 1 month to 60 days. After 60 days, I followed up with emails but without a result. Despite my initial visit and subsequent communication, as of June 24, 2024, I have not received the promised refund of $2,400 nor any updates on the status of my refund. The lack of response and prolonged delay has caused significant inconvenience and concern. I am seeking the Better Business Bureau's assistance in facilitating the prompt processing and return of my funds as initially agreed upon by the dealership.

    My fianc and I went to this Subaru dealership to purchase a new 2024 forester. To start, sales process was pretty challenging with our sales rep. ** wanted to test drive two vehicles, got to test drive one but then were left outside on the lot for more than 40 minutes waiting for the second car. When the sales rep returned he told us the other new car had a dead battery that he needed to jump before we test drove it so we canceled that test drive entirely.** did like the first vehicle and made an agreement to purchase. The car was listed as new with no disclosed damages. ** went through the entire process, signed the contract, paid the deposit, and took financing. ** were left in the lobby for another +40 minutes after this while our car was being cleaned. At that point we were told that that the vision on the car was not working and we could not take the car. On its own this was a pretty serious issue. ** were assured that we would be able to pick up the car 3 days later when the shop opened.When that day came, it was then disclosed to us that the car had been damaged in transit. The roof, roof rails and windshield had all been repaired or replaced. The dealership wrote and signed a contract for a damaged vehicle without disclosing any issues which is fraudulent and negligent. ** were also charged and had a loan taken out for this car which we never received. ** were assured by the dealership that they would get a replacement car for us. During there search they called us to approve them purchasing a new car for their lot - insinuating that we would be guaranteeing for them that we would purchase the replacement car. They then tried to charge us an additional $600 for the replacement car.This experience was horrible and lasted 5 days. They are a dishonest group so intent on making a sale that they make negligent choices that could cause real damage to their customers financially. I would not recommend anyone shop there.
