    I made a booking with Sonic to transport my car from ****** to ****** area for March 23rd ( sunday) , about 3 weeks before the shipping date of March 23. The quoted shipping cost was $600. I was told that I would be getting a call a few days before confirming the time of the car pickup. I followed up Friday as I haven't received a call yet. The customer service *** told me that someone would call me later that day and didn't receive a call. On saturday ( next day) , I get a call from Sonic stating that the trucker cancelled the booking and that I would have to pay $1550 ( about a 150% increase) for someone to pickup the car the same day, and that there are no trucks available until 10 days. The car company put me in a pickle, as I made all my plans to move cross country based on the transportation booking date. It's either I pay $950 extra and ship the same day, leave the car and move which is not an option. I had to pay the updated outrageous price to ship my car as I had no choice. I suspect there is some kind of consumer Fraud going on here, where they get the initial customer business by quoting low values, and at the last moment increase the cost exorbitantly, as a lot of consumers are probably in the same shoes as mine, planning their moves depending on the pickup date these transportation companies promise.

    I spoke with **** several times on 3/7/25 via phone and email regarding having my vehicle shipped and on 3/8/2025 funds were withdrawn from my account after being told that they would only withdraw once the driver had picked up my vehicle for transport. After taking my money they provided me with a confirmation email with driver and transport company information. I reached out to the driver who was sketchy when I asked for him by name. He then proceeded to ask if I was looking for the transport company and after I said yes he stated he no longer works for that company. I reached out to Sonic and they gave me a number for the dispatch and no one answers it goes to a voice-mail. I reached out to Sonic again and talked with ****** and she stated she would contact the dispatch and get back to me. She never did. I called again and no one answers it says all agents are busy and to leave a message. At this point I want a refund of my money, they are scamming people and giving fake confirmation emails and using the language that the transport company hasn't updated their driver information. BEWARE....they quote you one price and then tell you the driver wants more and increases the price. I was quoted $525 and then was told the driver was charging $1100 with half due upfront.

    I started services for car transport on 01/09/2025 my car was suppose to be picked up the following day instead it was not picked up into 13 they held on to my car for over 2 weeks constantly telling me lies on why I havent received it yet. I was suppose to had received it 2-3 days after pick up on the 10th today is the 26 and I just now getting it at 5pm. I was told for the inconvenience I would be discounted for the long wait. I spoke with the driver and he said that was a lie because they never reached out to him about a discount and he will not be discounting so Im asking for my $225 deposit back for the inconvenience. I have been texting and calling for a few days and they have not answered or responded to me

    Dear Customer, we spoke with the carrier company about this delay, they have been telling us that they have some problems with the truck, that's why they stuck in the workshop. We informed them that you need to be compensated for that on delivery, but I assume they didn't tell this to their driver. We will reach them to double this once again and see what we can do for you in this situation. We deeply regret that this happened with your order.

    This company was supposed to find a driver to deliver my car the driver canceled last minute and was left with no choice but to pay $400 more than originally agreed the price was for the car picked up from a certain location provided but was later told I have to drop the car off and leave the key in the truck the promised delivery date was 1/18/2025 the car was not delivered on the 18th now Im being told it wont be delivered on the 19th but maybe the 20th I am stuck with no vehicle or place to go I made arrangements for the first nights stay on my dollar now I am stuck with no communication and no update on where my vehicle is

As for the driver, this is definitely not acceptable, we will put him on our Black List and make sure not to ever work with this company. As we were limited on a time, our agent provided you with an only option that he had.     I submitted an order on 12/20 for this company to transport my vehicle from ******* to ******* ****** **** advised the vehicle would be picked up on 12/21 from 1-6 pm its now 12/23 the vehicle hasnt been picked up & the company is unresponsive they keep giving me the run around they hang up on me everytime I asked to speak to ******. The payment was for 100 once the vehicle is picked up & once delivered I pay 195 in cash. They also wont let me cancel because they have a 200 cancellation fee. I need my vehicle picked up ASAP please help me.

    We hired Sonic to transport a car from ************ to *************. We had to get the car to ***** by 5pm Thanksgiving eve as the shipping office was closed Thursday-Sunday. So pick up was arranged for Monday, with a preference for Sunday if possible. Our original quote was $800.. this was then raised to $1500 in order to get the shipment made in time (first red flag)We paid $550 deposit which was to be due on pick up (see attached contract)We were told pick up would happen on Sunday afternoon. It did not. We were then told pick up would happen Monday am. It did not. Then before 2pm. Then 2-4. At 5pm we were told the driver was 40 mins away. At 5.30 we were told the *** was 1hr.On a conference call with the driver and owner of the transportation company we were told they were in *** picking up other cars and hadnt left for ************ yet (2.5hr drive). They sent us a pin showing them in ******. They also said there was no way the shipment would get there by 5pm on Wednesday, they just wanted toto be honest with us. Refreshing!So we agreed there was no point in coming out 2.5 hours as we didnt want the car stuck in ***** as wed missed the boat. Literally.Sonic lied all the way through this. They have a distinct sales pitch and objections handling statements they all use you must have spoken to a mainline handler to avoid telling the ******** now they are saying theyre keeping our $550 deposit because the driver was dispatched when clearly he wasnt. He was still in *** picking up cars. Their contract clearly states the deposit is only due on pick up C - Once the vehicle is picked up the deposit amount is due and charged to the credit card on file.I enclosed the email from **** saying the deposit is non refundable.

If customer decides to cancel prior to that date - the deposit becomes non-refundable. We don't agree with your statement that carrier wasn't dispatched.     Your email is false and serves only to justify taking the money.

    Your contract (language provided previously) says the deposit becomes due on PICKUP.

    1. We spoke to the driver and owner, there is no documentation. You know this from the statement and our discussions, otherwise why else are you asking this now?

    2. We supplied a copy of your contract that says the deposit is due on collection. There is no documentation that the depost is due on dispatch, you only said that verbally to avoid having to refund the deposit.

    We have a legally binding contract for transportation. The original quote was $750. The clause in the contract said they had 5 days to give me a new quote similar in price. They cancelled my contract for 750 the day AFTER transportation was supposed to start. The next quote they gave me was $3200. Instead of fulfilling their end of the contract, they cancelled my contract 5 days before legally allowed, AND STILL charged me a $200 cancellation fee on 10/25/24 after admitting it was their mistake AND breaching our contract.

    No no no, you had 30 days to find me similar prices shipping options if the original ride fell through. It did, you apologized for it and then quoted me 6 more for the same service. Does 6 times more than the original quote sound contract complaint? You charged me a cancellation fee after YOU cancelled BEFORE the contract period even ended. Stop breathing, scam artist.

    Dear Customer, it is impossible to find a carrier 30 days before first available pick up date. Usually, we start looking for carrier couple days before date, mentioned in the contract, what we actually did, so once we found a carrier, offered you it, but you declined so we went to look for another option, because we had 5 more business days to find it. Since you decided to cancel prior that, cancellation fee was applied.

    On 10/3/24 , i called sonic auto transportation to take my car from ******** ,** to *************, **. They quoted me $185. However, the day off i hadnt gotten any notice to say when will their tow will come. I called 5 time between 8am- 12:30 am, finally at 12:38 i let them know i will be canceling the dispatcher because no one called me. They tried to argue and say that they did and the dispatcher will come between 3-4pm, although at the time it was past 12. They said to cancel it was going to be $200 even though the price is $185. They tried to take the money from my card before they even got the car, which wasnt part of the contract. And my card declined the charge because they said that the business is a scam.

    Transaction date September 4th. Company quoted me at 550 for auto transportation. I was told there was no upfront costs, that the quote of 550 would be final. Upon talking to other companies, I was informed that sonic did not have a driver for this delivery and that there is no way they could do it for 550. After finding this out, sonic called me shortly after to tell me that they could not get a driver. That the driver saw the job bidding on other job boards and is reluctant to take the job in fear I went with a different company. I come to find out the driver did not take the job because the bid was too low. I was also sent a screen shot of Sonics bid amount actually set at 800 dollars. When confronted they assured me that was not true and they were getting a different driver. The next day I was sent a text that a driver was assigned and could do the job for ******. I was told 550 now we are all the way up to ************************************************************************************************** by a different company

    Dear Customer, Unfortunately, we are only the middleman between you and the driver and have no power to determine the final cost, only to make an impact on the driver in order to make the price as reasonable as possible. Our agent did his best to get the price as low as she could, however $800 that was the lowest rate that drivers agreed on, and it was proposed to you as well.
