I picked the wrong day when I ordered and changed it the same day and was charged a $70 chance fee a hr later. They then charged me fully for the rescheduling for another $159 and wouldnt give my money back. So I accepted I lost $70 and scheduleded the new cleaning for my wifes birthday party. The maid sent a message a hr before saying they wouldnt show up and I didnt get a refund or a credit. This is a scam and a fake business they just take your money and ont deliver and service and their custom service says its not their problem if someone shows up or notInitial Complaint

We hired this service for a 5/24 cleaning at 11 am. The cleaner cancelled the service and then blamed us for cancelling. See attachment. I want a refund back. Not a rescheduling. Cleaning lady made no attempt to let us know she had arrived. If you look at attachment you'll see all we texted was "thank you" when she said she was on her way. Followed by a cancelling text. I scheduled a 4 hour house cleaning with Tidy.com for $159 on 4/6/2022. I submitted a gift card for $139 to be used for this service. At this time my credit card was charged $36 to "pre-load" cash for the service. After receiving notifications that 2-3 cleaning professionals accepted then cancelled the job, finally a person who accepted did not arrive to complete the job. Through the Tidy.com site I cancelled and rescheduled the cleaning for 4/20/2022. My credit card was charged $71.50 for a late cancellation at this time unbeknownst to me. On 4/20/2022, yet again no one arrived to complete the scheduled job. Through the Tidy.com site I cancelled and rescheduled the cleaning for 4/29/2022. My credit card was charged $74.50 for a late cancellation at this time unbeknownst to me. On 4/29/2022 a professional completed the job, finally. Effectively I've paid $182 for a $159 service which should have only cost me $20 due to my paying via gift card. **************** has been completely ineffective, stating that my cancellations validated the charges to my card when in fact the source of the cancellation was due to no shows by their professionals. Additionally, the professional who completed my job on 4/29 hadn't yet received payment from Tidy as of 5/5/2022, she is dealing with them separately on that issue and has had an equally difficult time with their customer service. To resolve this issue I expect a refund of $162 for the overcharges to my card. If i were to charge my hourly rate for the time I've spent dealing with their customer service they should be paying me substantially more at this point.Initial Complaint

I booked for cleaning service on April 19th and got charged for $100. See chase credit card charged PDF. They changed my cleaner twice prior to my cleaning date so I reached out to the customer service team to confirm if the new cleaner will show up and they confirmed for 4/26/22 booking (See the screenshot). My booking was 11:15am to 1:45 for 2.5hours. I reached out to the cleaner and customer ******************** multiple times and no one responded right away when this is time sensitive matter (see the screenshot). The Tidy customer team send me a new cleaner she showed up 1:10pm for 35min cleaning without asking my permission. At this point, I already hired someone else with $50/hr rate. Tidy app customer service team asked me to pay ****** of service when I was on the phone on 4/28/22 at 5:35pm. Now they are asking me to pay 1hour. I want all my $100 refund.Initial Complaint

They will charge you for services and then reschedule your time until you give up. They also dont have any sort of customer service that can reply within a week, so this will all unfold before your eyes without you being able to do anything. The only time I heard from customer service was after I originally scheduled a service two weeks in advance and it immediately started getting rescheduled. They completely gaslit me after raising my concerns of this exact situation going down. This company does not provide the services advertised.Initial Complaint

I signed up as a new customer on ********************** on February 26, 2022 to request a one time cleaning on February 27, 2022. No cleaners were available at that time but was told if one does become available, I would be notified. I set availability for 11am-7pm cleaner arrival and paid $72 via credit card. A couple hours later I had to readjust my availability and was charged $26. When my request wasnt filled, I cancelled the requested cleaning. I have never received services from this merchant. I was not made aware of any cancellation/refund policies except all changes must be made within 24 hours to not incur additional charges. The pending $72 ended up posting to my credit card. With this merchant being unresponsive, I filed a bank dispute. Tidy agree to let the $26 be refunded but provided false claims to the bank that I received services and has refused to refund me $72 despite numerous attempts at reaching out. Please see email exchanges uploaded as supporting documents. At this point, I want nothing to do with such a disgusting, dishonorable merchant but need my $72 refunded immediately.Initial Complaint

I had purchased a 2.5 hour clean on 3/14/22 via the app.tidy.com site. A person arrived yesterday, 3/21/22 to execute the cleaning. She started a half hour late and left 15 minutes early. She did not complete approximately 25% of the list yet we were charged in full. The quality is substandard among other issues.There is only one way to contact service, through their site which I have done several times asking for a refund. They outlined their policy which is to leave a bad review then file a dispute which is incredibly dangerous as the cleaner receives this information and has my home address and cell phone number. I demanded a refund. Instead the site filed a **************, copying and pasting my words resulting in me receiving harassing text messages from the cleaner, putting me in danger and in harm's way.This site is a scam and reckless. There is no recourse. This site should be taken down and put out of business. I should not be concerned for my safety in my own home due to their website and practices.Initial Complaint

On 12/06/21 I was charged $125 for home cleaning service, to be performed around 12/09/21. No one showed up. I reversed the charge on my ********* card, but Tidy claimed the the service was received, so my bank accepted the charge. That is just plain not true. It's impossible to reach any person at Tidy. We have written emails to Tidy and they refused to acknowledge the issue.Initial Complaint

On 11/22/21 I was charged $109 for a cleaning scheduled on 12/18/21. This was part of my reoccurring cleaning membership. I determined the cleaning on 12/18 would be the last cleaning and I would cancel my membership. I cancelled the membership as soon as the cleaner arrived. It was unclear that by doing so it would cancel the cleaning for that day. The cleaner had no way of clocking in on the app, and no customer service was available on the weekends to correct this issue, so the cleaner left without providing any services. I was refunded half of the charge (*****). I requested the full refund, to which it took many days of back and forth for the company to give me a credit (after I explained I do not want to use their service anymore). It is not my fault that Tidy does not cover weekend customer service. What other choice did the cleaner and I have in that moment? She couldnt clock in to work, I couldnt reach anyone for assistance, so I had to refuse the work. I am being penalized for a lack of customer service. I would like the remaining ***** refunded due to a lack of services provided and lack of customer support available to correct an issue that their app did not provide support with.Initial Complaint

I scheduled a cleaning service for Friday the 22nd of 2021 to which their professional canceled on me 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time. I was offered to have A tidy concierge try and find me someone to fill the space but then I was never contacted again that evening. I was looking forward to having the TIDY concierge schedule a substitute for the weekend as told and that never happened. I was however charged full price for the service that I never received. I then attempted to reschedule for Monday the 25th at 930 am and was informed at 9:33 AM that my TIDY professional was canceled on me again. I was charged an additional fee for the service that was not rendered. So now I have been charged for two services that were never rendered. Tidy has been in contact with me as of today, but has yet to refund me my money and tells me they cannot do so since I had someone scheduled for today. I canceled all my future appointments including the one that was for today because thats what they told me to do and yet no one is bothering to inform me of my next steps, or refund me the entirety of both services that were never rendered . I asked for a telephone call to speak to someone and I have yet to have that. They seem to Soli only discuss issues through the application which is very discouraging since they tell you it will take Tidy 48 hours for a response. Please assist me in receiving my complete and full refund for two services rendered. I needed a house cleaning since my veteran father had a cancer biopsy surgery and He needed to stay at my house but that was not able to happen because I was not able to get the house properly disinfected as needed and I had to send him to somewhere else to get care which is inconvenient and unsafe since he lives alone. Tidy is aware of this as well.
