      My business manager for my company contacted Kona cleaners and arranged a pick up for wash and fold services for 10 robes at $3/lb with 10 lb minimum, totaling $30 plus tax. Kona instead dry cleaned the individual items and charged $25 per item and charged $300. We did not want or approve of this service. When we called and spoke to manager ****** he was very disrespectful to my staff and accused us of lying. He refused to reimburse us for the overcharge.

      DO NOT USE THIS CLEANERS! In May 2022 (I believe it was around the 22nd) I went to see seamstress for measurements to have a hem put in two layers of a $288 dollar "Mother of the Groom" dress. She said to pick it up on 6/10/2022. I arrived to pick up the dress on 6/13/22. The hem was terrible with puckers that looked like ruffles some permently stitched in. I was told the dress just needed to be pressed. I went back to pick up the dress and then noticed the hem had been cut and sewn unevenly. this was verfied by measuring at home. The manager said seamstress could fix the hem. Seamstress said a substute seamstress had done the original hem. When I picked up the dress again there were black "X" marks on the dress. The manager took the dress to the "plant." He informed us the spot cleaning was not removing all of the marks and he was having the dress dry cleaned. When we returned to pick up the dress the dress still had marks. I had been focused on the skirt of the dress and only briefly looked at the top of the dress. The manager accused me of causing a rush on the dress. They had the dress for weeks. I did keep reminding him that if the dress was ruined I was running out of time to replace the dress that was no longer available at the store. With the marks, the dress was unusable for my son's wedding and I was trying to see if the dress could be made tea length for other occasions. The top of the stress startered to disinigrate and had a strong dry clean odor. I looked at the tag which clearly says "Spot Clean Only' and has a no dry cleaning symbol. Manager has now accused me of damaging the dress. My husband and I are now considering filing in small claims court. This comes at time when I am dealing with significant health issues and pain. The groom, my son, recently finished chemo for cancer. Manager was made aware of those issues and continues to cause emotional and financial harm.
