Date of transaction was 7/31/23 order number ***** This is in regard to purchasing four Range HD wheels. Size 17x8.5. For an entire year I was experiencing a harsh ride on my new truck after installing wheels and tire. They were installed at *********** in ******** ****. They notified me that balancing issues occurred during instal. Took it back twice for rebalance. Eventually filed a claim with ********** and they replaced all 4 tires with new ones. Was told to go to discount tire to have them facilitate the claim and do the install. Still had balancing issues. Had Falken wildpeak at4w placed on the truck, still had balancing issues with one wheel. A technician did tests on just the specific wheel causing problems. And advised me that the wheel has a manufacture defect. Barrel of the wheel was not even. After four sets of new tires replaced one wheel had a balancing issue and was causing uneven rotation and bouncing while driving. Discount tire replaced the tires over a period of a month late June to late August 2024. I notified fifteen52 and was told I didnt catch it soon enough and they couldnt do anything but offer a percentage off and told me to buy a new wheel. Why would I have to pay them more money after having all these issues because of their mistake. The wheels also have a lifetime warranty. But still chose not to cover the one wheel. It is poor business and poor ethic to charge a customer more money for a problem caused by the manufacturer. After all the trouble that I have gone through you think they would want to do the right thing. Discount tire manager did a chalk test on the wheel to show uneven barrel of the wheel, explained that damage from driving cannot cause this and that it is a defect from the manufacturer. I will attach photo of the chalk test from a video taken 8/27/24 I was told we suggest inspecting wheels when they arrive for defects I was never advised to do that and how can you expect someone to catch this specific defect.
