I found a 2007 silverado **** z71 for 10k. I go check it out and test drive no check engine lights/ issues besides them backing it up into a pole, rust under the body/ under paint on tailegate, leaking trans line, low oil pressure, door sensors and various interior flaws basically things i knew i could fix werent an issue. Tried to negotiate but they wouldnt budge a dollar. I purchased the truck and drove it home about 30miles. Next two days i had reached about the 100 mile **** (usually when someone clears codes this is when they appear back in the system) the check engine light started flashing (misfire cyc 4) i also got a low oil pressure stop engine now alert on the dash, checked oil and it was good but dirty. Hard shifts from 1-2 and idle is very rough. Oil pressure sensor was loose and i replaced it, ignition coil cyc 4 and spark plug (AcDelco). Nothing changed. Called **** (owner i guess) said the truck hasnt had issues like this before. I had my chevy mechanic diagnose it and the *** was at fault and if not fixed is a ticking time bomb. I advised **** on the issue and he wanted me to bring it to his mechanic. He didnt even opt to fix it for me and had no answers for me besides we dont sell junk cars on our lot thats not how we work my mechanic quoted $1000 no labor. **** countered me with $600 stating thats the money im making off this sale $600 will only cover the ***/DOD delete kit. He didnt send the check out till a week later only for him to say oh i dont know what happened ill have it sent soon i asked to pick it up and he wont do it. I cant return it either because i signed a buying as is contract, but the truck was cleared of its codes prior to inspection and test drive. One of our phone calls said he knew nothing of these issues then later said hes dealt with this before. *** invested money already into the truck to have it running. ***** was overpriced with issues demanding financial refunds
