On March 6, 2023, Atlas Shippers picked up 6 boxes (3 Jumbo/3 Junior) for conveyance to *************** via Ocean Cargo; the advised ETA was approximately 6 weeks. On 3/23, I tracked the package and discovered that the packages were in DHS Inspection (03/22/2023 - Homeland Security Inspection (***) - ETA to be announced). I have checked tracking every 3 days and as of 04/29, the status has not changed. I have sent several email to get updates and the email replies all list (03/22/2023 - Homeland Security Inspection (***) - ETA to be announced). On 04/29, I called there offices and spoke with their representative who stated that the packages shipped on 03/10 and they have no further update, I inquired as to the 03/22 status and was told they have not heard anything back. I asked for the cargo container number or the shipping line so that I could follow up and was told that information is unavailable and could not be disclosed. Was advised that they will email me when the packages are delivered. Common sense dictates that if they know the tracking number of the package(s) and they know both the shipping container number and the shipping cargo line, they could easily determine the exact location of the packages and if they are indeed in DHS Inspection still or in transit to the Port of Manila. Atlas Shippers gross incompetence in this transaction. Unclear was compensation can be done as it is unclear if my packages were pilfered, seized, lost at sea or in transit and scheduled for delivery.
