IERF practice discriminatory treatment. Its evaluator converted my 1593 clock hours to 42 credit hours instead of 53 credit hours that 1593 equals (basic calculation is the number of clock hours divided by 30). It is sad and unbelievable that my foreign clock hours are not perceived/treated equally to the US clock hours. it is still the same 60 minutes in an Ukrainian hour, just like in an American hour and it is unbelievable that this type of discrimination is possible. IERF officials refuse to allocate me the correct number of credit hours and i had to invest extra time and money into acquiring additional 11 credit hours for my licensure.

Quick to take your money, slow to respond. I have had the unfortunate pleasure to have to have done business with this company. I was trying to have my college credits/ courses translated from ********* to US standards. Please note this would be the SECOND time I would go through this process with them. The first time it was smooth and timely, this time not so much. I submitted the EXACT forms and paperwork both times, however this time the papers were not accepted. They ask that I contact the school and I did but they were having issues locating my official transcripts. (1992 is when I attended). Fine. After about a month I contacted IERF and they said they would reach out to the school.. I asked IERF why this was taking so long in comparison to the last time? No real answer was given. I even sent them the results from THEM when I did it the first time and they didnt really have an answer. $380 and 2 1/2 months later I reach out to the school once again and they email me the OFFICIAL transcripts!! Yay! I send the emailed official transcripts to IERF, now we are back on track! Nope! Now I need the hard copy!? Or I can ask this school to email IERF directly. In short its alot of money being spent especially when I did the work that the fee is supposed to cover. Id give zero stars if I could.

I used their service back in **** and sent my diploma, I received a thorough review of my education without incident. I recently wished to pursue further education and the University told me they would accept an undated/recently dated equivalency report. So I applied to IERF and sent the approriate fee. I also sent the documentation I had received in ****. They refused to acknowledge their own report, citing lack of old records. They also continuously refused to accept my diploma (the same one used in ****), insisting it was not official or original. It was. They insisted on transcripts which were not used when I got my diploma and simply, if I could get transcripts I wouldn't have needed their services. It is impossible to talk to a person, they email rote replies and when I asked for a refund for services not rendered, they only returned half of my fee. I suspect workers are not very well trained particularly when records are old.I would not recommend their service.

The IERF is a scam. They did not complete any report, but charged $55 for keeping the original diploma for over a month, then added $25 for *** postage to return the documents. Impossible to reach by phone. All business is conducted through email. None of their evaluators have doctoral degrees. They lack knowledge about doctoral degrees in **************, in particular *******. A license for this business venture should be suspended. This fraudulent practice of charging money for not doing the job must be investigated.

We are in receipt of and have reviewed the complaint filed by our applicant, *******************************We are sorry to learn of the frustration and dissatisfaction that she experienced with our credentials evaluation services, particularly with the delay in the processing of her file. However, this delay is not intentional. Rather, it is the result of our Foundation having to contact the educational authority (*******) for more information and clarification regarding the studies that she had completed. This additional research is needed because the accreditation of the institution of study remained unclear. This additional research is necessary so as to ensure the accurate equivalency assessment for the studies completed by her. Unfortunately, a response from the educational authority in ******* has not, as yet, been received by IERF. As such, we are unable to proceed with her file until we hear from the educational authority in *******.Please note that, according to the terms and conditions on the application form and website, IERF reserves the right to contact the institution of study or educational authority for further information when necessary. As our evaluation staff work remotely, phone services have been suspended yet our support team provides assistance and actively responds to all email queries received from our applicants. In addition, the terms and conditions of our contract with our applicant also states that no refunds are provided once an application is submitted. Nonetheless, we have considered the special circumstances of this case and have determined that an exception to the above policy can be made. As such, we have processed a refund in the amount of $55.00, (minus a 30% processing fee) and $25.00 for the secure mailing (return) of her academic records. Please note that the standards maintained by IERF in evaluating foreign credentials are based on the Foundations over 54 years of solid experience in international education research. At IERF, our mission is to serve our applicants by broadening and furthering their understanding of international education systems. Our commitment to the area is demonstrated by our support of activities that enhance the field of foreign credential evaluation and international student mobility and exchange. Our evaluators are fully qualified and are experienced in the work that they do.I trust that the above provides clarity.
