Ive always had good experiences with Blakes. Just had the air conditioner serviced and the thermostat replaced with a smart thermostat. *****, the service guy was so wonderful. He went above and beyond making sure the smart thermostat was working and synced properly. He also explained more about the air conditioning and the maintenance of the system than anyone ever has. I cant say enough good things about *****.

They were recommended for a leak in my HVAC. They came out twice and the leak was not fixed. They did do some great maintenance work. The service person, said they would only charge me $97.00 for the first visit, but the charge came out as $170. for the first visit. It was only about 20 minutes to blow out the pipe to outside drain. I called there officed and asked about the charge. The office person said the billing was in the mail, charged to my credit card. Asked if I wanted an email copy, I said yes. What she sent was the billing charge on my credit card, not a description of the work. She asked if I got a yellow billing paper, I didn't get that either time. In addition, this was early August. The billing that was supposed to be in the mail never came. She said she would find out and give me an explanation for the difference in billing. She left a voicemail a week later that said, the charge was correct. No explanation about why. If there was a mistake, I can understand it if she had explained. But the inconsistencies in what she promised to do and follow through left me distrusting them. End result, I am placing the review on Yelp and on the BBB too. I would like a written apology. And the work order descriptions I never received. The unit is in a rental and I need that for my taxes.

We mailed the original invoice with a receipt for her credit card attached. We also emailed her a receipt. She states she didn't get it so we mailed her another copy. Her tenant's equipment at her property was extremely dirty causing the system to freeze up. The tenant did not change the filter often enough to keep the system working properly. We changed the filter, and then found her blower wheel was very dirty and so it was washed to remove the dirt. Also her drain was clogged with dirt and we blew it out and tested the drain flow. All is now working properly. This was August, one of our busiest months and we managed to send her what she requested. Hopefully she had some piece of mind knowing her tenants had cool air for one of the hottest ******* on record. Lastly ******************* has left her a message to come by to get a pick up any paperwork she needs for her taxes.

This is not true. They never solved the problem.Again, this indicates how poorly the staff communicates with each other. We always had cool air. The issue was a leak that I finally found myself. The drip pan was never hooked up to the outside gravity flow pipe leading to the outside of the property. Three different companies came out to check the problem. I had the original installer come out three times, Blakes twice and a Plumber who just checked to see if the leak was coming from somewhere in the house. That turned out to be negative and the **** was still leaking. So, I spent 4 hours on a Saturday to research it myself and diagnose the problem. I asked for a Work Order which is common practice when you charge for work. ***** should sign it and I should sign it, also to prevent clear the work and billing. Notice, they had my email address and could have sent the work order to that, when they had trouble with mailing (a problem I have not had, and they had the address from my credit card billing and invoice. Since that was available, they could have sent it to my email, save themselves work and money from postage??? As to driving 30 minutes to pick up paperwork for taxes, that is rude to even suggest. You did not do your job. And, if you understood what a Work Order entails, you would realize when you wrote out the disparaging description of my renter, you actually gave me a work order description. So, I dont need anything from you. The issue was not the work that was done, even though it didnt solve the problem. It is your unprofessional and impertinent communication as an internal staff member. This is the most unprofessional set of communications I have ever received as customer service.
