  • Advertising Review:

On December 8, 2022, BBB requested BioRebalance to modify, substantiate, or discontinue claims made on their website (https://biorebalance.com/) that read, "Supply your body with all the ‘feel-good chemicals’ it craves. BioRebalance offers you the most pure, potent and comprehensive nutritional support to stop drinking or adjust your use.", "Speed-up recovery time by naturally boosting the body’s level of serotonin, endorphins, GABA, and more", "Enhance your gut microbiome, liver function, nervous system, and brain health on a cellular level", "Eliminate cravings, lethargy, and trouble sleeping – leading to natural energy and euphoria along with more blissful sleep", and "Nutritional Support to Stop Drinking".  Advertisers must be prepared to substantiate such claims per BBB's Code of Advertising.

BBB's Code of Advertising Section 34 states, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  Additionally, BBB's Code of Advertising Section 1 states, The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.

On December 19, 2022, the business responded to BBB's inquiry but failed to provide substantiation.

As of January 25, 2023 the business has not responded to BBB's request.
