    I moved in June 2016 never have I once been told my apartment was a clutter and fire hazard until ************************* became our resident manager I had been getting notices that my apartment was a chronic mess. I spoke to ***** about this she told me to call her corporate office if I want answers as to why these notices were placed. She said my bedroom where I do work from home has outlets overloaded. II use power strips that are protected and will shut down if there is a load. These power strips are very legal to use and SDGE came out and placed them. So how in the world Is it a fire hazard to have a power strip especially when SGDE has been out here to place them? I agree sometimes we will leave some dishes in the sink but this place is not a mess as they say they are just wanting a reason to kick me out after 8 years of being here.

    I would like to start by offering an apology on behalf of Hoban Management for any comments that were made about the condition of your unit that offended you. There initially was an inspection done back in the beginning of 2022 where maintenance had entered the unit and it was observed that there was unaddressed pet waste and clutter throughout your unit. We sent a few letters following that each time an inspection or vendor had been present and observed issues that prevented them from performing their job or could possibly pose any type of safety issue. We have sent these letters in an effort to inform you that as a tenant you are expected to keep your home in a safe and healthy living condition. The supervisor has personally offered their apologies to you and addressed all open issues with you. Nothing here is being done with ill intent or an attempt to kick you out. We are simply trying to enforce the same expectations in each and every apartment home.

    Hoban Management refuses to handle maintenance work(AC) and I am a tenant. This has taking more than 3 months to fix abs Site manager ONLY notifies Electrician(s) when they are on site. They need to fix maintenance issue because I pay to live in their apartments.

    On behalf of Hoban Management, I would like to offer our apologies for any inconvenience in not having this repair completed in the first attempt this may have caused.

    I believe our team put forth the effort to try to get the issue resolved to the best of their ability based on staffing availability and the hardships of covid.

    with that being said here is the list of our attempts to repair **************** A/C:

    04/08/22 installed a/c from vacant unit 113
    04/11/22 new a/c installed
    04/29 /22 Maint. Tech checked a/c and said it was running slow ,checked breakers and outlet
    05/02/22  request by tenant to check a/c  
    05/12/22 Maint. Tech went to check but no answer
    05/17/22 Maint. Tech checked the a/c and said it's an electrical issue 
    06/6/22 Maint. Tech II Scheduled to fix a/c 

    on 06/06/2022 our Maint technician successfully repaired A/C unit

    Better Business Bureau:

    I do not appreciate the companies falsification regarding, I, *************************** not answering my door due to me working from home home and if, that were the site manager should have notified me via text or phone call of trying to make contact. The issue has been resolved but, company need improvements in maintenance issues being resolved in a timely manner.
