I purchased used car from the dealership. I paid cash basically my contract does not match up to the amounts that I paid. It shows financing at *****% for an *** of 9900 and total of over 24k Why do I even have a Contract for *********** didn't pay 24k *********** is very suspect. One I overpaid for the car. That's neither here or There their prices are high I didn't even make it home check engine light on.called them immediately told me bring it I did they claim fixed today when I went ro move car check engine light on Rushed through the paperwork and the finance Person just telling me sign without really explaining paperwork and didn't really explain the California .opt out and said oh just sign this paper it says there's no cooling off period in ** in reading they shoukd offer it. I don't like what I see on the ************* think this business Is doing this for some sort of profit or? .Very suspicious process. I did not Finance for 24k. I gave them cash payment up front and then paid the rest off my debit so I don't know why it is such a discrepancy .Also another car that I I liked was an older car and when I looked at the carfax paperwork Last miles reported showed ***** which is over the current miles on that car=35996 on the advertising.when I questioned Why there was a difference.The man gave me some off the wall explanation. I want to return the car that I bought. I do not trust this Business any longer. I drove that car home parked it. i have not driven, got a rental since fri 1/17 bought that car on 1/14 dmv paper they gave says 1/13. I called them on 1/17 Asked to be let out of it. I want to return the car even if I have to pay fee. I don't like their practices and definitely do not Trust what It's going on there do not trust this cars info. They don't truly care about customers BEWARE they Def have hidden agenda Also today again check engine light is on! There is some confusion from the customer. This customer came in to purchase this vehicle and put $10,000.00 down towards the full price of the car. There was a balance of $9,900.00 remaining. The balance was not ZERO so the contract must reflect the balance as a payment for finance if she did not return with the full balance. The next day she came back in and paid the balance with her card so now the balance is ZERO. The contract does not have to be rewritten. The title will be processed via California DMV and it will be sent to her address listed on file with no lien holder. For the check engine light, the customer contacted our service department and had a check engine light. She brought the unit in and a sensor was changed that had gone bad. She is stating that the check engine light is on again but she has not reached out to service for assistance. If you know how vehicles and check engine lights work, then you understand that that "one" light just means you need to plug into a computer to read the code. It could be as simple as not tightening your gas cap all the way causing more oxygen in the gas/air ratio to be off setting off the light. But if she would reach out to service, we could help her. Instead she is just posting the complaint, without full detail, to anyone that will listen.Initial Complaint

On 8/16/2024, my wife and I purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Volt from this company. I found it on an online search for $9,999. After a test drive, we decided to buy it and I explained to the salesman that it would be an alternative to renting a car, since my wifes car needed major repairs that could take months to complete. The lovely young man that helped us has been there for a couple of months, told us that included in the price is a *** tracking device for our security purposes. I wasnt interested in this device, since we wouldnt own the car that long, so I asked if the device was transferable for the next owner. He didnt know. When he came back with the final cost of the vehicle, it was over $12,000. I asked if this was negotiable, because in my head, the numbers for tax and license didnt add up. We had been waiting there from the initial test drive for what seemed like hours and wanted to finish the deal. So, we agreed at $12,000 and the finance person was to explain all of the details. Well, it turns out that the *** device was a hidden upsell for $708. I wasnt happy, but he convinced us that it was worth it and Advantage Pulse would contact us shortly to link the software. Within three days I received two emails from Advantage Pulse to download their app and sign up, which I did. When I completed the tasks, I noticed that there was someone elses name on the account. In the vehicle data edit section, I tried to remove his name and replace it with mine. Each time I tried, I was bumped from the app. I contacted two different departments of Pulse and was finally told that the dealership had to resolve the issue. After daily texts, emails and phone calls, the manager has never responded and my device still doesnt work. I have asked the dealership for a refund and they refused.Initial Complaint

I went to this business to purchase a car. I had $6,000 down and wanted a payment around $300. ***** came back with a deal that was $400/month. I'd asked him if that was the best possible price as it was much higher than what I was looking for. He told me that was the best payment I could get based on my credit and not to worry about it because I had 3 days to bring the car back if I changed my mind.It was around 9pm and the finance lady was getting the paperwork ready. She printed out paperwork and highlighted where she wanted me to initial and sign. Everything was going incredibly fast since it was so late.When it came to the part where I could return the car, she said, ' The state requires us to charge you $250 if you want to return the car" and then had me sign on the line. She didn't inform me that I was opting out of this. She used her hand to cover the part that said I was declining the option while pointing to where she wanted me to sign, leading me to believe I was acknowledging that I would be charged $250 for bringing it back. They also have GPS on the car. She told me, "All of our cars come equipped with GPS" and had me sign off on that. When I got home I saw in small print that GPS was optional and NOT a condition of financing and that they had added $999 to my contract, without my knowledge and again without giving me the option to decline.They mislead and lied to me. I tried bringing the car back to them the very next day and they told me it was up to the manager who made the deal and that he wouldn't be back until Friday and I had to come back then.I'm very disappointed. They were not transparent about what they were doing, misrepresented the contract, did not inform me of my rights and mislead me into actually signing them away unknowingly.Initial Complaint

date of transaction for my vehicle is 2/24/2023. within the first 12 hours of having the car it had a Gas leak. By law it's supposed to be smoged before it left the lot with a customer, if it had been smoged it would not have a Gas leak. dealership did a quick fix, smelt gas from time to time. Car also had zip ties and duct tape all over the engine bay. My turbo hose was loose within a month of having the car. My intake Manifold was missing a bolt and the "service manager" said it wasn't supposed to be there, He also said there is no Lemon Law on used cars in **********. They have more technicians working in the back then what is listed on their website. The **** was very rude to me and my legal support when we asked questions about my contract. Also did not disclose that the car was a Salvage title on Carfax or to me. Basically, was not professional or helpful with this vehicle and refuses to refund me for a GPS system that is not installed in my car but says it's not cancellable. Did not have verified reports on any work done to my car, was all handwritten (which again is not legally correct).Business Response

The customer came in after purchasing the car complaining about the smell of gas the day after purchase. Service took care of the problem right away, it looked like a hose came loose. Just becasue a problem arises that doe not mean a vehicle was not smogged yet. Couple weeks go by and the customer brings in another SUV to show service that a bolt was missing. One vehicle was a 4cyl and the other was a 6cyl. Not the same so bolts and nuts will be in different areas. Later the customer came in asking to cancel the aftermarket items along with the **** Finance let them know that they needed to write a simple letter "requesting the cancellation". The *** is a hard add and non cancelable item, the customer was brought to my office and we looked at the deal and the *** unit had not yet been installed so the customer was informed we would also be able to refund that as well. Customer informed ** that her husband totaled the vehicle leaving the casino the night before. We have yet to receive a letter of request asking for the cancellations to move forward.Customer Answer

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealer and within the first 90 days I have had multiple service issues totaling over $6500. The service manager, ****** would not speak with me. The general manager **** will not return my calls, or voicemails and messages left with employees to discuss the lemon of a purchase I have made:Business Response

For the customer to have a problem with her vecicle, she needs to bring it in so the service can check out the complaint and verify the validity. I have spoken to her via text and asked her to bring the vehicle in for us to see. She agreed abut never shows up. We can not do anything if the vehicles are not brought in ao I am not sure what else we could do without her cooperation.

I have called dozens of times, no one will answer my calls, let alone text me. No one has ever texted me with regard to my issue.
just more lies from this business.
now the managers voicemail is full and when I call everyone leaves me on hold. NO ONE has ever texted me to say they would like to see the vehicle! I have called service, I have called finance, I have called for ****. No one has gotten back to me once!

Everything I asked about has NOT been fixed as promised. The light in the dash about the door is open and wont go off. Your service was supposed to fixed that according to your dealership. It cant pass inspection with it being on. So I assumed it was just passed because you can say what you want when it comes to inspections since you are a dealer and do your own inspections. This vehicle was allegedly certified by you and considered Fraud by the state of **********. The check engine light is on. For whatever reason. Doesnt appear the van actually went to ********* I will check with my ******** today to verify and recent work orders. And verify if it has been or not. The ** is flooded with water in the roof. I ran the rear ** for a short period of time and it is now full of water leaking out the sides of the van. There isnt a spare tire as I asked about before flying and driving a van all the way across the country. Had a blow out on the way and it was $541 to get a replacement and installed in the middle of **********. Ive asked about the paperwork for the dealer installed gps. I still havent seen or heard from anyone about it. The warranty paperwork for the ** repair and catalytic converter i still have not seen. Ive asked for it multiple times and havent seen it yet. All the plastic in the rear of the van is broken. This was never mentioned or showed in video calls with you. I definitely feel like Ive been sold a bunch of lies. Once I verify with ******** today that the van was actually being repaired or not at a ******** dealer
