    Company is sending out emails that as far as I'm concerned are straight up scams. They sent me emails at several of my email addresses about my car needing immediate registration (including using my license plate number in the emails) or else I was going to be charged fees. My car is already registered, and has been for quite a while. I have all my paperwork in order, as well as my tags for the next year. They are just trying to get money out of panicked consumers who don't realize that their company isn't the ***.

    My mother pay them as I believe close to 500 dollars for registration and title transfer now they are asking for the original copy to be mailed to them I'm glad I stopped my mother before she mailed it to them.     have now been waiting since December 1st for literally anything to happen as far as my car registration goes. In fact, it has take so long that in the process my registration was even suspended (even though I'd already paid it through these geniuses) and had to pay to have it reinstated. That was now... a month ago and still they have not moved forward with doing absolutely anything. I paid $1700+ including a hefty service fee and I can't get the guys to do anything.

    ON 1/10/25 I needed to renew my auto registration. I searched for the *** and ended up with this private c. ompany though I was not aware it was a private company because it had my auto information, which suggested it was legitimate.I filled out the forms and was told the cost was $171.00. But when I checked out the cost was $244.00 citing extra fees and shipping costs of almost $20.00 but I paid with my credit ******* was only after paying that I began to receive emails to find new car insurance and other garbage which told me I was not at the ****** I have paid a company is fraudulent and I cannot reach them. This is not a legitimate business and even though they claim on their websit that they are licensed by the *** that there is no evidence of that other than their statement. I called the CA DMV but it impossible to speak to a ********* I don't know if I will ever receive my new tags and was overcharged by $73.00. Plus they now have my credit card information.This is not a legitimate business. It is a con. Please help me recovery my money and ban this company from business.

    They have the website looking very closely like the official california dmv website and are the top result when looking for ca dmv on ******* asked for a refund and a cancel on the order, as I had no idea if this is a legitimate business or not and ended up paying for registration on the official CA dmv.gov website.

    I just purchased a 2004 ***** Silverado in rough shape. The truck is valued at ***** dollars on ****** blue book. I paid 1500 dollars for this pickup because of its condition and age. Upon arrival at the dmv and being called to a service desk, the employee told me that California does not care what an individual pays for a vehicle. They go off the blue book value. They decided that the truck was in "excellent" condition, which it certainly is not. My registration fees and title etc was nearly 600 dollars!!!!!! 600 DOLLARS!!! for a 20 year old truck in junky condition. How can the dmv, without having a vehicle appraisal done, decide the condition of my vehicle on the spot from their desk chair inside the building? How can these fees possibly be legitimate?! we have the highest cost for EVERYTHING in this state and then someone who makes ***** a year has to pay several hundred dollars to register a work truck for one year? If you look at the printout you receive at the end of the wallet milking process that the *** does, you will see a lengthy statement of FEE, FEE, FEE, FEE, FEE, FEE. endlessly. Fees the *** can't explain. Someone please explain how someone with a normal income, kids, cali insurance prices, cali gas, cali fire insurance, cali grocery prices, etc is supposed to even eat with all these obnoxious costs tacked on to already burdensome and expensive process of purchasing a vehicle. . How can anyone justify these costs in **********? Is anybody in power wondering how the state of ********** is going to pay just to keep itself afloat after all the tax payers that have been poked in the eye at every corner in this state, just leave? I want a refund of registration costs or a prorated cost based on state to state comparison. Not what the *** guy thinks off the top of his head.

    On the date of 7/12/2024 I had used what appeared to be the California DMV website to renew my registration and pay for the fees needed to register my vehicle for the year. I went through all the prompts on this website and paid the fees due which were very close to what I was supposed to pay since I was a week late from the initial due date.Then I realized after receiving an email from the website stating that they needed proof of insurance and the smog certificate, I had probably been scammed, but was not for sure.Today (7/24/2024) I decided to do some research after sending them said documents that were need to finalize my order and receive my registration tags.my research confirmed that this website was in fact a scam and led me to the BBB to file a complaint and hopefully get a partial or full refund so I may pay my registration.I have attached proof of monies spent on this so called CarRegistration.com whatever you can do to get me a refund would be greatly appreciated.Regards *************************

    Better Business Bureau:

    I was able to contact the California *** and verify that my registration fees had been paid and my registration card along with current tags for the year have been mailed.  
    I also have spoken to Car Registration.com regarding this matter and they indeed confirmed what I was told by California ***.
    The Car Registration.com representative also informed me that since CA *** records showed my registration was already expired that the *** website most likely kicked me over to the Car Registration site to renew my registration. So in short this website is totally legit and not a scam.
    They were very nice and understanding of my situation thinking I had been scammed and are refunding me the processing fee.
    I am very grateful for that.

    I placed my order for a renewal of registration for the CA DMV.There are no options to cancel the order within the web interface nor is customer service available by phone or email.These are micro barriers placed by the company to prevent you from changing or canceling your order. In my opinion this is predatory at most and deceiving or irresponsible at least.

    On 6/6/2023 I paid my vehicle registration using this website. I have never received my registration and it appears my registration was never paid through the **** EIther I want my registration brought current or I want my money returned to me. I paid $412.83.
