On 7/19/23 I applied for a loan through this company. The requested my DL ID, my bank account information, my social security number and then I was denied. According to the Equal Credit Opportunity Regulation * Rules prohibited practices is that a creditor shall not discriminate against an applicant on a prohibited basis regarding any aspect of a credit transaction. The moment that took my social security number and requested permission to check my credit file it became a consumer credit transaction. I did not receive any benefit from this company for applying for a loan. I requested to have confirmation that my information was deleted and removed from there system, I was told they would put me on the do not call list. This did not satisfy my concerns. This call was on 7/19/23 at 9:46am and then at 9:59am I received a text message from another company offering me a loan. This proved my information was sold. I have not benefited from this transaction as a consumer but they now have access to all of my personal identifying information. I am requesting that I am compensated for this violation of my consumer rights.

The consumer reached out to us out with the hope of getting a personal loan through online through a validated lead form giving us permission to contact her. We explained that we act as a finder and are able to run her information through our market place of lenders who in their sole discretion approve or reject loans. She agreed and gave verbal confirmation to submit her information to the lenders. We have no control of the decisioning. Untimely the consumer was declined for a loan and received an adverse notice from the lender that reviewed her. Consumer was not charged any fee's upfront and suffered no financial loss. When she asked us not to contact her further we placed her on the Do Not Call list as she stated.

I am rejecting this response, it is clear that this company sold my nonpublic personal information to other companies and violated the ***** This company acted as a financial institution and because of this they are subject to certain laws that they need to follow. When I requested to have all of my nonpublic personal information given back to me, I was told that they will put a note on my account, yet no more than 10 minutes after hanging up the phone, I received communication from other financial institutions regarding personal loans. They violated my privacy and according to the law, as a consumer I cannot be denied credit. The application with my credit card(social security number and signature is the form of collateral). Once the application was signed (electronically) it became a promissory note, which in turn can be and probably was sold and the company received a benefit and I did not. If student loan companies can send a promissory note and claim that they are owed money, so can this business. I need to be compensated for not benefiting from this transaction.
    Sincerely,

Consumer was not charged for any of our services, suffered no loss and opted in to receive information regarding financials services through a verified form submit with a 3rd party. Once asked us to be removed from *********** list we did just that. Any further discrepancies need to be addressed between consumer and original company that took the verified form submission.
