Empire was scheduled to put flooring in 2 rooms of our house this past week. We emptied those rooms and the installer showed up at 8:45 am ( never even called the night before with arrival time), with the wrong product. He tried to get me to agree to use it anyway to which I refused. He then said they would be back tomorrow with the right flooring (I showed him a picture of the right product). The next day nobody showed up. I called our salesman several times and he looked into it and said that it should be that day also. I spoke several times to customer service and they couldnt get through to the installation ***** nor could we. We left several messages and never received any call backs. I finally left a message on the voicemail of the sales manager and never a call back either. My husband finally got to speak to the supervisor at the call center who was very rude and was hung up on my husband. It is several days later now and crickets from Empire. We told the sales guy to cancel at this point. Empire made the mistake and should have been there the next day with our flooring. They were rude, unresponsive and unprofessional.

Once again the BBB has allowed a consumer to place a complaint against the wrong business entity. We are family owned and operated in the ********* and Rancho ******** since ****. I have never done business with ***********************************. I do all estimates and installations myself. I do not have a " call center" as described in this complaint. I request that a copy of the contract and invoice for this transaction be provided to verify that my contractor's license or business information is nowhere to be found in the documentation.**************** contractor's law requires that a contractor's license number appears on every contract and invoice on transactions conducted.
