    Hello,I purchased a new 2015 ***** Cruze from Quality Chevrolet in ********* back in 2015 when living in **. Around 40k miles we started having significant issues with the vehicle (oil and coolant leaks). Between 40k and 65k miles there have been 12 different repairs for coolant and oil leaks. The repairs were so bad at first that GM provided their top of the line extended warranty free to us. Since then the vehicle has had multiple repairs costing thousands of dollars. A summary of all repairs has been attached. Below are a GM case number for and VIN number. I am requesting a full refund for this lemon vehicle and that it be repurchased by the dealership.     THIS VEHICLE WAS AND IS OUTSIDE OF THE FACTORY WARRANTY AND WE WERE UNABLE TO DO ANY REPAIRS NOT AUTHORIZES BY THE MANUFACTURER.  CUSTOMER HAS MOVES OUT OF THE STATE MY LAST REPAIR OREDER DATE WAS IN 2017 AND THE VEHICLE HAD OVER 177K IN MILES.  THE CUSTOMERS CONCERN WOULD HAVE TO BE HANDLED BY THE MANUFACTURER SINCE IT IS OUT OF ANY WARRANTY CONSIDERATION AND DUE TO THE ***** THE CUSTOMER NO LONGER LIVES IN **********.

    Hello,

    The vehicle has approximately 55k miles on it, not 177k. My problem is that the vehicle started to see major issue just outside of the standard warranty 36k and is essentially a lemon. A vehicle with this few miles should not have the issues that this one does. A simple ****** search will summarize the complaints for this vehicle and its 1.4L engine. Nothing but issues and neither the manufacture (GM) or dealership are willing to address this issue with the years of evidence that I provided. I would not recommend purchasing a GM vehicle, nor will I ever buy one again, but I am still looking for a fair resolution to the issues with this vehicle. It is extremely unfair to put customers in this situation where repairs are coming close to the cost of the original vehicle.

    A price for a **** equinox was advertised as $35,350 msrp with $10,000 discount (everyone qualifies for) making the price as $25,350. I contacted them so I could get a cashiers check for the correct amount, to get the vehicle in question. They informed me that the price for the vehicle would be $42,508. I explained to them that the site states there is a discount. So I sent them the link of the vehicle, as well as a screenshot of the advertisement. They ignored the information and stated I didnt qualify for all discounts. I told them if the price of the site was wrong or if it was a bait and switch? They ignored that comment and just asked if I was a first responder or trading in a current ***** lease, which I wasnt. So they said sorry you dont qualify.

    When viewing the original complaint and the supplied mp files the price supplied was from a third-party website operating in ************.  we didn't know they presented the **** Equinox discount that is listed as a total is incorrect, since this is the first time I have seen this I will reach out to the host and make them aware that it was incorrect and also make sure they have the proper calculations if they are going to present our specials in ************ website directory. Below is the format for our ad and the website clearly identifies the price and how you qualify and list the details for additional savings.  We will make sure this is corrected to avoid any future confusion.

    Well not only I was not able to put a deposit down on the vehicle that I wanted, too much time had already passed so I wasn't even able to put a deposit down. Due to a unbelievable salesmans incompetence who had confused my vehicle for another one. finally the salesman called me back In which he's response was "you should have jump on it early on". Well it wouldn't help when it's himself who had mistaken my vehicle for another one and prolonging it with a credit application just to find out that someone else has put a deposit on the vehicle I wanted. i have been trying since July 21 2022 to put a hold deposit but i couldn't because i need to do a credit check app per salesman "its company policy". so i did even though i was paying in cash. i upload files and the owner was suppose to contact me but nothing. basically what was the point for me to fill out a credit application, which my SSN was needed to put down a hold deposit on the vehicle? i want this to be resolved by the dealership to sell me the correct vehicle that i requested for

    Mr.  ***** ***** contacted our sales department on July 22 2022 requesting a remote delivery and because he lived outside the delivery area, he was advised that would not be possible, he was advised that he could supply credit and place a deposit and the vehicle could be held until he could arrange a flight to San Diego to purchase and the customer decided to think about that and get back to his salesperson at a later time.  He was advised that the vehicle was in demand and could sell quickly so the longer he would wait the chance that it would be sold greatly increased. Unfortunately, by the time Mr. Uziel Arias followed up the vehicle had been sold, and due to the fact, he lived in Northern California we would not be able to perform a remote delivery.

    dealership has given false information just to avoid accountability, i sent the screen shots that show no conversation about "flights". if they did have the correct car then i would have told them that i have a brother lives in the southern cali about  15 mins away from the dealership. i dont know what the dealership is talking about. I'm done with this complaint i have already got my new car from Capital Chevy in San Jose back in august 2022, interesting thing is I'm in central CA and it is same amount of 4 hour drive to capital chevy and quality chevy, the big difference is Capital Chevy are COMPETENT. thank you BBB for hearing my complaint about a questionable dealership and you can close this complaint.

    I stand by my original response and us the customer states he has purchased a vehicle and is no longer in the market.  we relayed the information as we notated in the response and have nothing further to say.  If the customer had left a deposit and agreed to the terms of pickup or stated that he had a family member to pick up the vehicle, then that may have helped the situtation but that is no guarantee since we have a first come first serve policy for fairness. Tell us why here...

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 17739558, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
