WE HAVE TRUED TRIED TO WORK WITH THIS MORTGAGE SERVICING COMPANY. i HAVE HAD HEART PROBLEMS AND HAD OPEN HEART SURGERY. SN Servicing Corporation is a mortgage provider. Their agents and practices are discriminatory and violate civil rights. The property in question was purchased in 2007. Never refinanced or pulled money from the property. This company has given nothing but grief, misinformation, conducted themselves unprofessionally, denied access to a portal with vital information related to the mortgage, sent mail to erroneous addresses all in an effort to discriminate and prevent mortgage from being appropriately handled. They do not reach out to call you unless until you initiate a call. The agents have sent emails that have been unprofessional and badgered me the homeowner. When I have consistently asked for a resolution, I have been met with words such as"you need to get responsible" not recognizing the hardships or situations a homeowner may face. In August of 2024, I made a large payment on the account in an effort to resolve the matter, taking their word, and now in October they are asking me again to submit a large amount of money. They send unnecessary demand letters. And it seems that they are in the business of putting minorities out of their homes. I have attempted to escalate the matter only to end up right back at the starting point. I have dealt with many mortgage companies and this has been by far the worst. I'm unable to see any of my mortgage or statements of my mortgage online they deny me access to the portal and then tell me that the statements that I have received are incorrect when I make the payments, all in an effort to continually default the account. Their business practices are unprofessional, as well as the way they communicate. I have been hung up on several times with no resolution. Every time you call they tell you that they will note the account but nothing happens after that point. When you call again you have to wait for several minutes on the phone for them to review the notes only to tell you that there's nothing more they can do.Business Response

This is a letter I wrote in August and still have gotten no response from the SN Servicing. The words in their response to suggest that I'm stating they are "lying" in itself is unprofessional jargon. The attached letter sent to the company has not been addressed.

My name is Tonja Johnson and my account number to reference is 323-412 regarding property address 449 Fountain Avenue, Dayton Ohio 45405. The purpose and this letter is to serve as a formal written request to dispute the account being in default or delinquent. I have been in constant communication with the account manager Erica Delgado and other representatives of SN Servicing in an effort to resolve the account. Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in resolving the matter at that level to date. I have also been advised to escalate the matter to the supervisor and/or operations manager and have done so. I have left several messages for the manager Joni, but to date I have not had a conversation regarding the account with her. On 8-2-24, I reached out to SN Servicing and spoke with a Skylar Celeste, who helped me as far as he was able and advised me to make a payment of $2, 130.36. He also advised me to further escalate the matter because I disagree with the amount as I have been on a payment plan for some time and have been making payments as advised by Erica Delgado. However, I was never able to confirm the amounts on the portal. These payments were based on a verbal agreement. As a property owner this makes it difficult to know what the expectation is and stay on track with it. The statement Erica sent me via email stated the amounts that needed to be paid and that is what I paid. However when I further conversated with Erica she stated that those amounts were "not correct." And that I needed to "get responsible"!
Prior to these conversations with Erica Delgado and other representatives I had spoken to (HAF) to request the housing assistance fund assist with my mortgage. The housing assistance fund and agency did pay a nominal amount exceeding $11,000 to bring the account current. It should also be noted that you are corresponding with the wrong mailing address at 2312 Far Hills, Oakwood ,Ohio. I have also bought this to the attention of the representatives but it seems that it's not changing. The mailing address at 449 Fountain Avenue has been difficult because of theft and mail not being appropriately put in the box by the mail carrier. It is for that reason that I requested to have access online or in the portal to see the status of the account. This is directly impacting the communication issues and correspondences between SN Servicing and myself. Erica Delgado has on more than one occasion been very unprofessional and her delivery of information to me going as far as saying I need to "get responsible". There have been many hardships I have suffered lately including the loss of a parent and medical issues beyond my control, and compassion in addition to professionalism is always necessary. Ms. Delgado has failed to communicate adequate information. I have been the person that has been reaching out to her through email and phone in an effort to resolve the account. Again on 8-13-24, I spoke with a Skyler Robinson, a lead, reviewed the notes on the account and advised me in order to prevent a demand letter on the account to make the payment before the 22nd of the $2130.36 which intend to do. However, I want to dispute because that I still disagree with the amount. It should also be noted that every time I call and speak to a different agent there is a different amount that has been stated to me for payment due. I do have receipts for the payments that I made on the repayment plan in March of 2024 going forward through May 2024. I was told there was a payment missing in March and I'm unclear about that because I have the receipts to show I made that payment. I make my payment through Western Union or MoneyGram so that I'm able to track the payment. This mortgage has transferred quite a few times and so it has been difficult for me as the borrower to maintain a rapport with the company. I purchased the home in 2007 and take great pride in maintaining the interest rate I currently have. There have been some hardships of course, but I am intent on maintaining and keeping my property. At this juncture, I would like a full review of my account, specifically all communications since the Housing Assistance Fund made the payment on this account. At the time of the communication with HAF, they offered to pay up to $25,000 on the account to bring it current. SN servicing stated it was $11,000 due, however, soon after the HAF payment was applied to the account I was told by SN servicing that there was a shortage in escrow and that there was a tax increase and that that is what caused my account to become delinquent yet again. It is imperative that I have accurate, reliable information, as well as professional customer service if I am to be successful in continuing to maintain my home. I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter.

I am behind on my mortgage payments and have tried to get ahold of ***** to figure out a solution to the problem. The state equalized value on the home is $17,000 which is $34,000 doubled and I was trying to get a loan modification from the company. I have sent several emails to the company without any correspondence back from anyone. ***** did call and leave a voicemail and I reached out to her and left a voicemail with no return call back. This company is a joke to work with. Nobody ever gets into contact with you to work out a solution. I have tried to make several payments and they have rejected all of them. I am rejecting this response because: there has not been any contact with the provider. I received a voicemail from ***** and telephoned her back and left a voicemail with no call back. I have sent her several emails as to making up payments and sent in payments from my back account and they were rejected from the company. I have done a payment arrangment with the company before and always made sure that the payments were made. She never even contacted me to say if the payments would be okay to send in or even contacted me to do a loan modification because state equalized value is $17,000 which makes the house worth $34,000.

I received a letter from servicing corporation certified mail to my address stating that as of September 14, 2004 the sum of $3476.32 needed to be paid by September 14, 2024. It said also that if that date falls on us on a weekend that the money would be due on the following business day there after that date would have been, 16 September I called my servicing agent who was not at work that Monday or that Tuesday regarding making the payment. She informed me that she forwarded my case on September ***************************************************************************** a letter stating that I have to give them $8755 that is unfair. The the case was sent to the attorneys 72 hours prior to the date that I was allotted. I should not have to pay attorney fees when I called to make payment or to find out how to make the payment this is totally unfair. Theyre trying to take my house and I dont have that extra money. I am rejecting this response because: I was forced to that deal because I had no choice. I was told that if I didn’t pay that money by the end of the month that you guys were going to put my house up for foreclosure so there really is no settlement. I was forced into that agreement, which was done under false pretenses because the paperwork was file 72 hours prior to the deadline I need to be given back my money. I need some sort of resolution because now you have me in involved in a deal where my mortgage has doubled and I’m not going to be able to pay that so you set me up for failure so this is far from being resolved. I was forced to make that agreement.

This complaint is against SN Serving and manager Brandon C******* who is threatening foreclosure on my wife Stephanie E******** *********, a terminally ill and disabled woman. We have the means to make payments and are only trying to modify the mortgage to start making payments once the mortgage is put into the proper name, but the servicer is refusing to work with us. It must be known and emphasized how twisted and greedy this company and its employees are. They are notorious for refusing to communicate, misappropriating payments, and pressing for expedient foreclosures. Thousands of people have been rushed out of their homes by this company, even those who were making payments! It cannot be allowed that a disabled person, whose conditions are heavily affected by stress, is told that she is unworthy and undeserving of the home she has spent her life in by an unknowing and unhelpful person working at a company 3,000 miles away, especially when we have the means to pay. He disregarded that my wife suffered from a stroke and that any bit of stress could put her at risk for another. He made it clear that he couldn’t care less about her condition or the fact that she is disabled. He refused to give us the proper options to retain our home and told us that if we can’t afford the payments we don’t deserve the house. How unconscionable does one have to be to tell someone they don’t deserve to live in their home? Everyone is one month away from losing their cars, phones, and houses since everything is bought on credit. No one really affords anything, so how do we not deserve to have a roof over our heads and to live out our lives with what little time we have left before Stephanie’s diseases overtake her? How does she not deserve to keep the only remaining vestiges of her family and the home she was born in and lived in since 1965? SN Servicing received an insurance check from a claim for damage to my property, made out to me and them. They said they would disburse the funds once paperwork was submitted showing the work was completed. I submitted the required paperwork on June 20, 2024 for 3 different vendors. They disbursed one insurance payment but not the other two. I have asked every single business day since then for a status and to disburse the payments but the company has not responded at all.I am requesting two disbursements: a payment to me for $7,006 for flooring work completed that I have already paid for. The other to me or Whites Heating for $1,641.85 as this invoice has not been yet.The attached itemized payout from the insurance company lists the damages from the claim and their payments for the insurance check they sent to me and SN Servicing.SN is withholding the disbursements for no apparent reason and has ceased communication on this issue. On or about February 13, 2008, my late mother, ******************* *****, secure a loan with CitiFinancial, ************************************************************ in the amount of *********, using her home located at ************************************************************* as collateral. My now deceased stepfather was listed as a co-borrower but never had ownership of the home.The initial loan was predatory in nature and suggested a payoff of $164,368.80 to an elderly woman of 72 years of age and her elderly spouse based on $********* in principle extended to them. I have estimated, from 2008 to her death in June of 2018, she had paid well over the principal amount borrowed. Since CitiFinancial of ****** sold this loan, this loan has been sold to various collection agencies all demanding payment, initially from our now deceased stepfather and now from me as primary heir. This account is now with ******************** that is threating to take the heirs property located at ************************************************************* based on the initial predatory loan made by CitiFinancial. The current loan is less than 20 days past due. SN Servicing Corporation is asserting a current balance of $31, ****** at an interest rate of *****% which makes it significantly difficult to reduce the principal.The collection techniques are harassing, hostile, evasive and threatening. The constant selling of the loan as soon as one company has earned money and the ongoing harassment for us to take ownership of the loan in our names as heirs of interest is relentless.Both my mother and stepfather are deceased, I have been paying the loan out of fear of losing the home and land. However, I am seeking assistance with resolving this issue once and for all. I can not continue to pay approximately $358 per month indefinitely. I believe this predatory lending has extended well beyond my deceased parents and is now crippling heirs financially.Business Response

There are many incorrect statements made in this complaint but given it is not a secure site I do not want to divulge the privacy of this account/consumer - this has also been discussed to with this person regarding the history of the account -- if he would like to file a RESPA complaint or the representative of the estate we will provide all disputed information for their review - we are not a collection agency rather a servicer for the investor that owns his loan -Customer Answer

The reply from SN Servicing Corporation appears to be a form type reply and is completely unsatisfactory. I ask SN Servicing Corporation to please advise what portion of my BBB complaint is incorrect. I have significant documentation to support the concerns I submitted. I ask that SN Servicing Corporation provide information on this account to the ******************** as the person initially securing the loan and the co-signer are both deceased (approximately six years ago for primary signer). I ask that SN Servicing Corporation please take reasonable steps to protect the sensitive information, but I otherwise authorize and support release of the history of the loan to the BBB. Lastly, I am asking SN Servicing Corporation to disclose who is the investor they are representing. All communication from SN Servicing Corporation leads me to conclude that they are a collection agency.

As stated previously I disagree with your dispute - I do not know where you are getting the $162,000+ in amount owed but that is incorrect - when loans are originated the interest rates is based on the industry and the credit score of the borrower's - due to the delinquency over the years a modification was given to the borrower which included waiving a sizeable amount - again if you are requesting documentation please due so by filing a RESPA complaint and our atty can assist you with all of the additional answers and supply you with all documentation requested - also as stated we are not a collection agency rather a servicing company much like the company that gave the modification in 2019 - The owner of your loan is "Igloo Series IV Trust"
