Fitness 19 is knowingly and repeatedly charging me for 2 separate memberships. I already spoke to management at the ******* location and requested that one of the accounts be cancelled so that I am not unfairly charged twice. Management assured that they would cancel the second membership but have not done so. I have checked in person with management twice and called to confirm they would cancel the membership, every time they guaranteed that they would cancel the second membership.I was again charged for 2 separate memberships today. Meaning they are aware of the issue but have not taken action to cancel the memberships as I have repeatedly requestedInitial Complaint

Have been a member of this gym for a few years. I had been seeing a trainer here and I have went through several trainers I am on my fifth one. I canceled the training because my current trainer cut down his hours so I am trying to use up all these sessions I have left and now they tell me that the trainer is no longer working on the day that I am scheduled for. We cancelled my 16 year old son's membership to Fitness 19. I don't recall receiving anything from Fitness 19 until today, when we received a collections notice for $224.94 from ******************** a collections agency.Initial Complaint

During the summer of 2015 I joined the ************************************************************* location. I moved out of the state in March of 2016 and was told after I had moved that I needed to be in person to cancel the membership and was told that is the only way. Obviously I couldnt do that, so I just continued to pay for the service and annual fees. Fast forward to September of 2022 after I get home from deployment and looked over finances, I was astonished to see there was a collections fee for $159 for a service that I never stopped paying for, even though I didnt live in that state for over 7 years. When I try to find contact information for the gym, I find that its PERMENANTLY closed and cannot get ahold of them, and that fitness 19 has no corporate contact information to validate my debt. Now its in collections as of Aug 29 2022. Not only would I have paid off whatever debt the company said I had before sending to collections, but to send my account to collections while Im deployed in the South ***** Sea is absolutely unnerving.Business response

company singed up my daughter when she was a minor she did not have authority to register or sign a legal binding contract with your company, Since then we have called, Went in person, went online and have no way to contact anyone and are still getting charged WE Want this Canceled ASAP and funds refunded as you had no authority to go into contact with a minor.the contact you can clearly see she provided he accurate DOB. You need to do better for your consumers.Business response

This happened at a different club that the one here in the complaint. We are located in ***************************************. This is the wrong location in complaint completely different ownership group and computer system.

Fitness 19 charged me $71.98 for a monthly subscription that was supposed to be under $15, i will like a refund because i was never informed my subscription would go up.Business response

Fitness 19 has never increased their monthly rates on active memberships This charge may have been your one time enrollment fee at your time of sign up, but we are having trouble finding an account under ***********************************. We would be more than happy to look into the account and verify the charges you are referring too if you could provide us more information
