11/26/24 I purchased 2 compression garments. I didn't try the garments on, but I tried on one simular. ******* told me that I can exchange garments within 5 days (for a different size). 11/30/24 I was refused the exchange because I had hand washed the garments. The receipt states garments can't have stains or orders to exchange. I waited for over 30 minutes while ******* spoke with her manager over the phone in the back. The reason I needed the exchange is because the garments burned my hips on both sides, and I disclosed this information to *******. I didn't ask for a refund but an exchange. I immediately sent a cancellation text ~5 minutes after I placed this order. It went ignored and when I emailed for a refund they refused and told me I should have sent a cancellation text. This is the worst service I have ever received from a business.Initial Complaint

On 12/23/22 I went from San Diego to Cali Curves Colombian Fajas store in ***** **** I bought one Faja in size small nude color for $130.00. Then on 12/27/22, I ordered another Faja in size small black color online for $142.82. The store mentioned that they offer alteration services as well. After that I called and ask if my fajas can be altered to smaller size. I went to the store again and had my two fajas for alteration. I was told that the alteration lady will be on medical leave. I had to buy a third faja for $185.70 in 3x small size and black color. After that, I called the store, and they told me that I can send my two fajas for alteration. The lady over the phone did not meet with me virtually to see my measurements, nor did she ask me about the number size of my waist or back or anything. She did not ask me to fill out a form with detailed sizing, nor did she confirm with me in writing about sizing and measurements. I paid $113.15 on 02/24/23 for alteration. When I got my two fajas back, they were damaged and unwearable. Super tide with very poor alteration service done. I could not wear them or get the buttons to close. Besides, the alteration they did is very awkward. They altered the fajas in the opposite way. Instead of hiding the line or alter from the inside, they altered them from the outside, which it shows the thick alteration print all over the fajas on any type of clothing. Also, all my body got swollen and huge pain from trying them on. I paid a total of $385.97 for two fajas plus alteration, and now they are damaged to be wasted. I am requesting a replacement of my two fajas or my money back so I can buy new ones. I have been emailing the store; however they are refusing to solve what they damaged.Initial Complaint

On January 19 my husband bought me a 1st stage faja for my second bbl surgery. The woman that works there insisted he buys a 3xl based on my weigh and the type of procedure I was having. Just looking at it The garment was way too big so it was useless for my procedure. I tried to exchange it with tags still attached, didn’t even try it on I literally folded the garment and placed it back into the paper bag it came in. Went to the store 5 days within the policy date and was denied a exchange due to the garment having a “smoke” smell which was absolutely not true, NO ONE in my home smokes matter a fact I have a child that is asthmatic. Not only did they deny the exchange the woman that works there was very rude and with no reason, as I am always tactful to people. I didn’t argue much with her because her mind was made up that she wasn’t going to get along with me the moment I walked in that door. Almost felt personal. Now 5days away from surgery I have take time from my busy schedule to look into a reputable business that I can trust and stuck with a garment that costed me 110 dollars that I have no use for. I feel scammed and taken advantage of for as I can see this is something they have done to many paying customers.Initial Complaint

On November 29, 2000 2022 I purchased a Colombian Faja from this website. It was 59.99 and I had a coupon. When I was checking out there was a $10 shipping option that popped up and I was kind of surprised because it was fairly expensive. It made it seem like it was priority fast shipping but as soon as you paid, then it said something about taking like a week or so to process. Anyway, I ordered solely off their sizing chart, their sizing chart said specifically to order by the chart, and not what you normally wear. I received the item in the mail, it was a 3X. It is so tiny there is no way I could even fit it on my daughter, who wears a size large. Absolute false advertising, company says no refunds, and will only except something back if you pay for the shipping. Based upon everything I've read, I feel like even if I spend money to ship this item back at the company is going to just say that it's dirty and refuse it. I'm extremely disgusted with this company.Customer Answer

The item was not returned. There was paperwork inside of the package that said that you had to return it within two days. , and based upon the day that I received it, there was no way there would be enough time to process to send it back. Not only that, but I had to pay for shipping myself and I read so many reviews online and under yelp saying that when you try to send something back, they'll try to find any reason to deny it. For example, they can say the item was dirty or worn when it clearly has not been used or worn so instead of wasting more money for this company and wasting my time, I just decided to report them. It looks like there's a long list of complaints online. Unfortunately not everybody knows about the Better Business Bureau and how to report things.Business Response

Customer placed the order on November 29th at 9:07 am. Her order was shipped out December 1 at 2:48 pm order was delivered December 3rd at 10:14 am. Our warehouse has a processing time in which is stated and normal throughout any facility. This is the time frame between us printing her order, packing, checking, and shipping. Her total time frame was 4 business days from when it was ordered to shipped. We have a sizing chart on our website in which we state to please follow for sizing as these are compression garments and can not be ordered by clothing size. As stated in our policy we allow an exchange for difference size if needed and can definitely assist her with her exchange if needed. When it comes to shipping cost we only ship priority mail and those are automated rates the postal office uses we do not control shipping rates cost. Returned it( I paid $30 fort shipping)within their time frame. I reached out regarding the delay they said they sent an email regarding a shipping fee when I was originally told that the price difference between the cheaper replacement was going to cover shipmenet. the email were they were charging me an additional shipping cost went to my spam, replied right away and I still have not received the item. I told them that I was only supposed to wear their product for 6 weeks after surgery it's been more than 2 months and that I no longer have need for this product they said they don't do refund even when this is not my fault it shoudl not have taken them this long to replace my garnment, and due to the circumstances I deserve a full refund.Initial Complaint

On August 30th I placed an order with Cali Curves (Order#******). On the website it states “** FOR SIZING PLEASE CHECK CHART. DO NOT ORDER BASED OF CLOTHING SIZE.” So based off the not so detailed size chart, I went with what was recommended for my height and weight, only to receive the item that did not fit. You would think a company that sells waist trainers would relay on measurements of the body rather than someone’s height and weight because everyone does carry weight differently. I contacted the company via email on Monday, September 5 stating that I don’t think it’s fair that I should pay additional shipping fees to 1) ship the item back and 2) to have another one sent to me since they do not do refunds, only exchanges in the same style. I received a response on 9/6/22 stating “Our sizing size on our website is generic” as well as “We do not guarantee any sizing chart nor does any company” along with a copy of their return policy, which I am fully aware of. After placing the order on 8/30/22 I started reading reviews on countless review websites only to find that most of the reviews were bad and basically had the same issue with sizing. Instead of canceling the order (like my gut told me to do so) I figured I wouldn’t have an issue since I did purchase the size recommended to me by their size chart. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Since I did go based off of the size chart (with no measurements) I feel I should not be responsible for the shipping fees since I did purchase the “correct” size based off of their size chart rather than buying my normal size in waist trainer. If I knew that the size chart was NOT accurate I would not have purchased the size I did, but rather the size I KNOW I am. I would like to be sent a pre-paid shipping label to ship the item back to the company in exchange for a different size. I am willing to pay for the shipping fee to have the new size shipped to me but I do not feel I should be responsible for the return shipping fee
