They are not upfront about income tax preparation fees. They tell you they have to input your information in the system, and it automatically applies the fees. Make you sign on the electronic pad then give you copies of what was signed. Never do they explain the upfront fees. I asked the lady how much it would be To see if it was better to pay with cash and she told me there was only a $50 difference between the cash payment and the automatic deduction from the refund I called and they apologized and offered 50 dollars of store credit. They came back to say they would only refund the 50 dollars when I received my refund. The last lady I spoke to said I was charged $250 But I was charged $398.95. Between the different Fees they charged I would have rather paid the $250. She offered her apologies, but By my experience today, they know this is not the first time they do this.

I made my car insurance payment on 4/24/23. I paid $244.84. A few days later, I received a letter from ****** stating they are going to cancel my policy if I don’t make a payment by 5/1/23. I called the Fiesta Auto in Reedley & they confirmed I did make my payment & first told me to disregard the letter & that they’d call ******. The gentleman at Fiesta Auto said he got in touch with ****** & emailed them proof of my payment to a lady in ******’s finance department said that she received his email. I got a voicemail on 5/1/23 from a person at fiesta auto confirming that I still had coverage and everything was ok and to continue to make my payments on time. A few days later, I received a letter from ****** saying my policy was cancelled. I again called fiesta auto who said that my policy was canceled. I asked if I need to sign any paperwork or if I was being charged a cancellation fee & he said no. I spoke with customer service at ****** who said I only paid $10 or $100 and that’s why my policy was canceled. The story was not adding up. They asked me to again pay the $244. I thought this was sketchy because I can’t trust them to also not “lose” this payment. On 6/23/23 I received a call from a gentleman at the Fiesta Auto insurance and he stated that I am due a refund. He sent me a document to sign. This document also had ******** ******** and **** ******’ signature on it. I received two letters from ****** saying I was being placed in collections. I then received a letter from a collections agency by the nene of ********, *******, and *****. Their letter states I should email or call with any proof I have about my “debt.” I called the collections agency and the rep was rude. I explained that any time I call ****** they do not answer the phone and that I would like to provide proof of payment. She then said, “what do you want me to do? Call them and tell them to answer the phone? Every time I call I’m told the issue will be handled, but now it’s been 3 months.
