1 starI'd give this business a zero if it were possible. I thought this business was reputable and trusted. It's a big disappointment to know that when my husband wanted some coins appraised , I referred him to a business that gave him a negative and traumatizing experience. He witnessed 2 individuals asking for money they didn't receive and the individual behind the counter told my husband he's giving him 2 cents per coin. First off, he asked for an appraisal. Second off, as a consumer my husband has every right to leave a business free from retaliation. Instead, an employee assaulted my husband and the police were called. When they arrived the police told him to just leave. I grew up in Fresno and I know that this is a family owned establishment. Maybe they need to reconsider who is to continue their family business. It takes years to build a reputation and only days to ruin it.Review fromJeffrey R

I took my 6yr old son in to have some coins appraised and or sold that he found in a storage locker we won at auction. Shame on me for not doing my own research first. However, *** who seemed nice enough said they don't appraise coins? Odd. More **************24 reviews8 photos a month ago ************** with outstanding principles. However, *** who seemed nice enough said they don't appraise coins? Odd. And secondly said none of them were worth anything to them? Odd. She lied to a 6yr old boy.They do appraisels, she didn't want to.. she then gave him pennies on the dollar for said coins and not even spot price. All in all for a $30 investment, $600 isn't bad for a boy. Until I get home and just for fun go ahead and look up some of the dates I recalled.He took them over $2500 in value on the low side just in 6 of them alone. I know they are a retail store, but to openly lie and steal from a child is next to robbery. We trusted the family friendly store to be honest and as the website says pay him to dollar for the coins. Well he was totally taken advantage of and I'm sick from it. I can't say enough how this place needs to be held accountable for their employees misleading customers and lying to them to make a dollar. **** you should be ashamed and I hope you don't sleep well at night knowing you took a child's money for your own sake.Fresno Coin Gallery is a sham and we have reached out with no response, no care at all. Disgraceful place. Better off on **** or just wait for auctions.Shameful business ethics and practices.My son will never be able to trust a "dealer" again.I hope your money is your downfall one day. Amanda F***. Well let me tell you about her… I do not know her or have I ever met her… She was so friendly… So helpful… So knowledgeable… Answered every question that I had… It seems like once she talk to me she knew what I was looking for… And what I liked… This is what I call a true person that knows how to sell and take care of your customer… If she worked for me, I would never want to lose her… By the way, she did make a good sale… Thank you for having her I enjoyed her tremendously…Fresno Coin Gallery Jewelry & Loan Inc
