5/28/2024 purchased a 2001 **** F150 that was advertised online for $6,995/135,195miles. Contract states $8,995/137,417 but financed $7,815.18 with my down PMT of $2,000,total being $11,898.71. Test drove with **** and he and I both heard wat sounded like a chain, asked about it and was told it was the chain that holds the spare tire that might jus need to b tightened. Noise worsened so I had it checked out with mileage of ******* and it wasn't from the spare tire, was informed both tie rods were blown out, drag links loose and rubber missing, radiator needed flushing and transmission was leaking.Called ******* from *****'s Auto and dropped the truck off so they can check out, picked up the same day n was told to call the following week to see if the part was in cause he had order a whole kit. When part was in I took truck and only ball joints were replaced. On 8/20/2024 truck over heated with smoke inside and out causing me to cough, with the help of a good Samaritan my truck was pushed to safety. Called ******* again and had truck towed to *****'s.8/21 spoke to ******* and was told motor was blown out. I mentioned that transmission failure doesn't hapn w/out warning and only wares down over time which I've only had not even 3months. On 8/23 I Was told he was gna make sum calls and see about pricing to repair or replace. I asked if they would be covering costs and he said NO that I would have to pay outta pocket. I asked why I would have to when he sold me a vehicle knowing it had transmission problems so *****'s Auto Sales should be held responsible for it. I also asked if it would b possible they give me a different vehicle in exchange since he was aware that he sold me a vehicle knowing it had a substantial defect which effects the safety, value, and drivability. And he wasn't trying to work with me instead told me again he'd get back to me when he got sum pricing. As of 8/29 I still haven't heard back nor have they given me my truck back. Pmt

Customer ******* bought the truck on 5/28/24, the prior weekend or weekend before that we used the same truck to go to LA to pick up a transmission. Truck made it there and back no problem, it's a good truck with low miles, that's why we used it. Shortly after she purchased it, she mentioned a noise and we found it to be the front ball joints were a little worn. I ordered the parts online and said I'd fix them when they came in, no charge. I ordered an entire kit for the front end just in case we saw anything else that needed to be replaced. Everything in the front end was good minus the ball joints so that's all i replaced, I never said I was going to replace the entire front end. A week or 2 later she called and said the transmission was leaking and smoking in the cab, she had it towed over for us to inspect. Upon inspection the upper radiator hose was not attached to the radiator, she showed me a picture and said that happened when she was driving down the highway. The overflow reservoir was miscolored and you could tell the truck had been hot and steaming out of the overflow. I asked ***** if the truck had gotten hot and she said that it did. There are no transmission leaks, the transmission works perfectly and still does. ***** drove the truck and it started getting hot, she kept driving the truck till it blew the radiator hose off, after that it was too late. I explained that driving any vehicle over heating will damage the motor. The truck still runs and drives but the motor is hurt, and I told ***** that it would need replacing or rebuilt. I called looking for a motor and they were all very expensive so I am still looking for the most affordable option and haven't figured it out yet. Regardless I haven't had the time to work on the truck yet, it's a big job and she's in line. Of the pictures she attached is the same picture she sent me of the radiator hose not attached to the radiator. Driving any vehicle like that for any time will hurt any motor. Again there are no transmission leaks, no transmission issues, the motor got hurt from overheating. Attached is the overflow reservoir you can see it overheated.

I am rejecting this response because:

I do not agree with ******* Auto Sales response due to the false statements made trying to put me at fault. It stated that shortly after I purchased the truck is when I heard a noise, NO it was that same day on the test drive. When asked about it I was told it was from the chain that holds the spare tire and it jus needed to be tightened. Yet the noise got louder so I had it checked only to be informed there was a series of defects. I contacted ******* but only the ball joints were replaced. A few days later as I was driving on the freeway the truck started smoking inside & out making it hard to breath without coughing, NEVER did I say it got hot and kept driving like that. After having no choice but to push the truck to the side I opened up the hood & one of the hoses was detached. I DID NOT keep driving it as I knew it was unsafe too. I contacted ******* Auto Sales and had the truck towed to them. The following day I received a call informing me that the motor was blown out but that he was gna make some calls to get some pricing to replace. When I got a call back I was told he had found a motor but wasn't covering all cost. I asked how much am I looking at altogether and I was told $900. After over a month of not having my truck, I received a call that my truck was ready to be picked up but I was being charged over $2000. ******* Auto Sales sold me a vehicle with defects which effects the safety, value, and drivability therefore I shouldn't be held accountable for repairing or replacing. Ive only had the truck 2 1/2-3months, transmission failure doesn't happen w/out warning and only wares down over time. Last I was told was it was going to cost $900 no more then that. I would NOT have approved if it had first been discussed & it costing over $2000. It's now been over a month and ******* still has my truck and won't return without payment. I was treated unfairly due to my lack of experience with vehicles. I made arrangements to get what we had discussed which I'm willing to pay which is the $900 as I was told it would be.

I bought a car from *****'s auto sale, which was my second car that I have bought from him back in December of 2022 I only had the car for 21 days by January 3rd I was shot inside of my vehicle. My vehicle was told by my insurance company. My insurance company total the car out, but stated that after totally in the car out that I did not have insurance on the car when in fact, I and ***** auto sales made sure that the car did have insurance. I reached back out to *****'s auto sale and stated to him what had happened and that the vehicle was no longer in my possession, but also that the vehicle needed parts that were missing to it and that I was told that I bought the car like that. I have spent a total over $2000 on getting this truck fixed. That I have not driven no more than ********************************* that he has bought cars. Options that have been shot app and have repatched them and resolved them to people that are currently still making payments on. I have. Pleaded with him multiple times for him to just give me some type of reinverse mail or even another car for the fact that I have a broken down car that I did in fact, buy from him not once but twice.

************************* purchased a ****** Pathfinder in Dec of 2022 and ****************** Services was the bank that financed her and also the lienholder on the vehicle. At the time of the purchase, she provided the bank with proof of insurance, I have nothing to do with insurance. Shortly thereafter the vehicle was shot up with her in it, I don't know the dates. The insurance company totaled the vehicle out. Again I have nothing to do with insurance this is just information I got from the customer. In March or April of 2024 Miracle brought the vehicle by and said the catalytic converters were clogged. She expected me to pay for them which of course I am not, and she left the vehicle in my possession. I talked to ******** and they told me put a lien on the vehicle they don't want any part of it. I still have the vehicle in storage.
