On 7/11/24 I purchased a Kia ********* pre-owned 2021 Telluride for $40,000. ( VIN # *****************) On 7/13/24 I spent the day familiarizing myself with all the features (radio, climate control, etc) and discovered the special socket needed to remove the locking lug nuts on the tires was missing. I called ****** on 7/14 and spoke with finance manager **************, the last gentlemen we spoke with the night of the purchase. He said he'd look in the service department for a socket for the security lug nuts and if he couldn't find one he would order a new one. I emailed him on 7/19/24 because he had not contacted me. I was then contacted by the service dept.and was told I needed to bring the car in so the locking lug nuts could be replaced. I immediately told the rep of my previous conversation with Mr. *** and the service rep assured me that it was a temporary measure until the socket arrived. Mr. *** then emailed stating I had to bring the car in to replace the lug nuts. He made no mention of waiting for the replacement socket so I emailed him back. He replied that as it was a used car the standard fix was to remove the locking lug nuts rather than provide the necessary socket to remove them during a tire change/rotation. This vehicle was equipped with and shown with the locking lug nuts in place. The vehicles tool bag for changing a tire has a slot designated in the bag for this socket but no socket was supplied. Also, this vehicle came with a 1 year warranty when purchased. Finally, the vehicle was advertised online for about $35,000. After agreeing to see the financial numbers the first thing we noticed was that we were being charged for "additional equipment" which was not added by the dealer nor was it listed in the advertised price. Although we later negotiated most of this upcharge away I thought it relevant to bring the integrity of the dealership into question. I can supply the emails and any of the sales paperwork, including warranty info if needed.

I purchases a 2016 ************* that has had a fuel consumption problem. I spoke to them several times about this issue, even brought back up from my mechanic indicating that I could barely get 1000 miles without having to put 2 quarts of oil in it. I did the required consumption test and they told me it was to *** standards. As of late, the car was only making it to 800 miles before needing 2 quarts or more of oil. Last week the car went into limp mode and they are now telling me I need a catalytic converter as it is clogged. I had to pay $220.00 for this diagnosis. The quote is over $5000.00. They know that this issue is because of the oil consumption. I am now without a car and no help what so ever from them.I have read on many forums that I am not the only one having this issue. So sad, as I really like my car but will not buy another ***.
