      I made four payments to sl finance under the assumption that they were working to consolidate my student loans. I find out from osla the company the loans are through that it is a complete scam. I would like all my money back and then some for the suffering that was caused to my family

      Per talking with you guys on the process plus what osla told me are two completely different things. I was told by sl finance that when they filed the paperwork that I was going to be receiving 0 dollar statements for x amount of time due to my income based repayment. 0 dollar statements and then done away. According to osla there is nothing out there that does what you say. Extremely misleading

      Yes correct based upon your financial situation you do qualify for a $0 payment for the next 120 months because you work in a school district. What did **** servicing provide to you? Again we are here to help you throughout the whole process, we aren't trying to put you in a worst financial situation.

      SL Finance contacted me first and personally through my phone and email, stating they were from the ** ********** of ********** and that I was eligible for student loan forgiveness. I gave them my social security number, my debit card number for payments, my signature on documents, and my address. I found out they were a scam after people warned me, and I emailed my personal provider *******************, to state I would like to be withdrawn from their program and that they no longer had the right to my information/ signature. I have emailed them several times asking to be withdrawn along with them no longer allowed my information, and I am still scheduled to pay them 199$ on 11/07/2021. They also somehow got into my Mohela student loan account and changed my password without my knowledge or consent.

      I was contacted by SL Finance about getting lower student loan payments. I would need to pay $199 for 5 months (October 2021-February 2022) and then my monthly payment would go down to $39. They were able to access some of my personal information without me giving it to them and claimed to be with the ********** of ********** so I thought they were connected to my current loan payment plan. After looking them up, it seems as though they are a fraud and I would like my money back. The charge is currently pending (10/23/21) and I have emailed them about giving me a refund and cancelling all communications going forward.

      It looks like the payment drafted has already been charged back, so you will have the funds back into your account. When going over the legal document, you allowed us access to your account with the Federal Student Aid. We were never trying to impersonate the ********** of ********** What we do here is send legal documents over to the ********** of ********* to place you into the program we discussed.       I received an email last night about student loan relief under the cares act I called this number 866?.68??1.1052 and spoke with some named ******* ****** he old me I qualified for a portion of student loan forgiveness, my loans are ***** and I would only have to pay **** back. He sent me papers that had the ** department of education's name on it with SL finance saying they would by out my student loan from my current loan office and my monthly payments would start on 11/19/21. He said it had to be autopay so I gave him my bank account info. I signed these papers saying I would pay a certain amount each month. Afterwards I looked them up on here and seen where other people were getting scammed. I called ** department of education they told me his was a scam and to report them to the federal trades commission. I did but I'm not sure what to do with my bank as I dont even know if that guy was really even from this company now or if I just gave some random person my info. No money has been taken out as of yet and I will be calling my bank as soon as it opens but I'm not sure what they would even look for if it would be from this company or from someone else. I have sent the emails with this. Please advise

      Attached are my files and proof of payments made to them for 4 months. I want my refund back. I didn't need to use them. They are a third party. I contacted the **** ********** of ********* and made my full complete loan payment in full on 10/13/2021. The ********** of ********* told me that I didn't need them. To consolidate your loan should not cost you nothing. Meanwhile I paid SL Finance 4 payments of $174.50. I am asking fir my refund back. I also cancelled my account with SL Finance on 10/13/2021 as well. BBB can you please help me with my refund. Thank you. The

      I was recently contacted by a company called SL Finance, who told me they could get a big chunk of my student loans forgiven. While on the phone with them my Student Finance Account was hacked and the password was changed. Shortly after this hack, they listed to me all of my student loans. They then asked for my driver's license number, at which point I told them I wouldn't give them any personal information. I strongly suspect this company was trying to scam me and hacked into my student loan account to take out loans in my name. What do I need to do to ensure I am safe?

      I was contacted by SL Finance to join a student loan repayment program. I enrolled and set up autopay. I finally noticed that payments had stopped being drafted and I hadn't had contact with SL Finance in some time. I am somehow unable to log in or find any assistance with SL Finance about this issue. I do however have proof of payments on my bank account statements. I received nothing in exchange for my payments;not a single bit of my student loan debt reduced after all these payments.
