We enrolled our child in *** mouse learning in 2020 during a pandemic. We cancelled our subscription in the same year. However i got to know that they were charging my account for next for year until 2024. They were putting charges on my account at mid night and hence credit card alert went unnoticed. I reached out to them and informed them. They just refused to listen and kept emailing me saying we are trying to call you and your not available. This company is a SCAM. they are just trying to RIP OFF hard working parent who are looking for a better option for their child's to learn. I will highly recommend all the parent to stay away from this company. Use free resource like ************ they are lot better than this. This is just a SCAM. Look at their rating and no of complaints they have received.Age of Learning, Inc.

After further review, it appears that the account was not properly cancelled by the account holder, resulting in it remaining active. However, we have reached an appropriate resolution. This company that runs *** Mouse is scamming families with young children. I started using the app for my 2 children during Covid when it was advertised as free. It wasnt that great of an app with lots of glitches, but for Covid it was better than the kids not having some type of educational program. I was automatically billed for an annual subscription that I was under the impression I cancelled over a year ago. There was no notice at all that I was going to be charged. For a tech company that only operates through an app, you would think an automated email wouldnt be too difficult to tell their appreciated customers they are about to have their account charged. Per their policy they do not offer refunds. Good luck finding the policy on the app designed for children. It should be illegal to charge someones account without a reminder or notification. My children have aged out of this app and there is nothing I can do to get my money back. I sure hope that my account is actually cancelled, I will be going in on PayPal to do what I can to block this company. Shame on *** Mouse. I will never recommend this shady company.Age of Learning, Inc.

This company which runs ABCMouse.com loves to enforce their "No refund" Policy, even when they s**** up. I hadn't used their service likely for 2 or 3 years, forgotten about. Saw I was being billed. Got a hold of them thru their website, customer service and was informed that the Sub had been cancelled no longer to be billed - Mar 2023. Then what do I see in April 2024 a charge to ABCMouse.com for $79. And even though I forwarded them their own email stating that I would no longer be charged, they would only do a partial refund of $39, I reported their false charge within a month. Can't even comment on their quality of service since it has been so long ago since we actually logged in and used them. Highly recommend that you keep track of your due date and cancel your sub as soon as you are done with them. They are not forgiving even of their own mess-**** and could care less if you basically gave them free money for an unused sub for 3 yrs. As far as being response and giving a c*** and absolute F.Age of Learning, Inc.

They auto bill you without pre notification. Then there is no phone number to call to get it corrected. The only way you can communicate with them is via chat, and the chat system is only a digital chat that provides misinformation. The only way to chat with a live agent is if you ask several times to chat with a live agent. Then you will wait forever for a response and if you dont type quickly they say goodbye and you have to start all over. You have to have your issue already typed up so you can paste it quickly when they decide to answer you. It is extremely frustrating as a customer and I imagine it has to be one of the worst jobs on the planet since everyone gets frustrated. Just horrible to deal with! I am currently on another long wait since they needed more info. Gave them the info as quickly as possible, but now I am again in a queue, waiting and waiting and waiting (one hour now) for them to answer. I might have to start all over again.Age of Learning, Inc.

Still trying to hold peoples money capture, I guess they didn't learn from the 10 million dollar lawsuit. They are still practicing ridiculous refund policies, where you are forced to fill out an online refund request to get your money back. I had to call twice because I made it clear with the automated system that I wanted a refund, and was told it's a 5 minute wait, well I finally hung up after 20 minutes and called right back. This time I asked to speak with a representative instead of using the automated system and I was transferred to a customer care agent almost instantly. I think if I didn't hang up and call back they probably wouldn't have connected me to representative.Age of Learning, Inc.

At Age of Learning, ensuring a positive experience for every customer is our top priority. We strive to be attentive, meticulous, and equitable in all our interactions with customers. Upon receiving this concern, we immediately delved into the account details to ascertain the situation. Our review confirmed that the customer had active monthly subscriptions to both our standard plan and the ****************** with both set to renew automatically unless cancellation occurred prior to the renewal date. This auto-renew policy is clearly outlined on our subscription page.Further examination revealed that the customer's first outreach to ************* was on March 26, 2024, the same day as the account's renewal. At this time, the account was active, and there was no evidence of a previous attempt to cancel. The customer was informed of our policy against refunds and the account was subsequently cancelled to halt any future charges. The customer was notified by email that the cancellation request was received after the renewal deadline, precluding the possibility of a refund. However, recognizing the inconvenience this may have caused, we offered the customer two access codes for their own use or to share as they see fit. After re-evaluating the situation, we decided to refund the most recent charge of $12.99 to the customer's account. We have also sent a follow-up email to confirm the cancellation and refund. Should there be any further questions or if additional assistance is needed, we encourage reaching out by replying to our email or by calling us directly. We're here to help.Review fromMichelle C

During the pandemic, we downloaded *** mouse to help with learning while my kids were not in school. As soon as my kids were back in school in 2021, the app was no longer used and I thought I completed the right steps to cancel the subscription. The app was not used after. I have a screenshot of the last date of usage on 10/02/2021, by my daughter. Fast forward to March 23, 2024 and I noticed a pending charge on my card. I missed the two prior year charges, and my subscription had been charged annually. No annual notices of subscription renewal had ever been sent. Completely unethical practices by not sending out annual subscription notices, like every other company. When I contacted company on March 23, 2024 to argue charge, they would only give me a partial refund. I disputed this charge with my CC company and want to make sure that others do not make the mistake of using this company with unethical subscription practices.Age of Learning, Inc.

At Age of Learning, ensuring a positive customer experience is our foremost goal. We are dedicated to being attentive, thorough, and equitable in every interaction with our customers. With this commitment in mind, we promptly investigated the details of this account to understand the situation. Our records indicate that the customer had an annual subscription in place. Such subscriptions are designed to automatically renew each year unless a cancellation is initiated before the renewal deadline. We make it a point to clearly communicate this automatic renewal policy on our subscription page.Upon a more detailed examination of the account, we discovered an attempt by the customer to cancel their subscription on March 25, 2022, after the account had renewed for the 2022 year. The customer accessed the cancellation page but did not complete the necessary steps to officially cancel. Considering this finding, we have decided to issue a refund to the customer for the recent renewal and for 2023. The appropriate refund amount has now been processed and returned to the customer.Review fromTola O.

1 starNot to be trusted please. I subscribed to the ***mouse app for an annual subscription Feb 10, 2024. A month into the subscription I am unable to access the app. It is not available on the playstore and when I downloaded the *** mouse reimagined this is the message I got. "your current credentials are only applicable to ABCmouse Early Learning *********** am unable to access the app I paid for. I contacted customer service and they said to use it on abcmouse.com. You need the app to access the subscription, it does not work online. Please give me a refund and stop scamming peopleReview fromKRYSTAL S

1 starFraudulent business. I signed up for *** Mouse during the pandemic. When the kids returned to school I canceled the subscription. I just looked on my statement and low and behold I was paying 19 dollars and some change after canceled well over a year ago. I then attempted to sign onto the account and was unable to. The site said email address and password was incorrect yet I had gotten emailed the link to update the password. I was only helped by communicating through text to more that likely an AI customer support name *******. If you have any good sense, do not subscribe to ***Mouse. You are better off going to ******* or downloading a free app.Review fromSara S

1 starThis company preys on parents who are desparate to get their child to grade level in reading. Don't utilize it. There are plenty of other organization out there who have better reading programs. I have the same complaint as others. They charged me for another year's payment without notification. And when I went to ask for a refund because our school district pays for this exact program, I was told by the answer bot no refunds would be granted. We did buy this for a year initially, but later learned our school district paid for it. We decided we wouldn't go back for the initial payment, because it was our fault we had not done more research. But, like other parents, we forgot we had it. Most companies I know would at least give back the unused portion of a yearly fee. Why not divide ***** by 52; charge me for the two weeks I "used" it and send us back the rest? That is reasonable. Do not use this company. They provide very little in terms of actual customer service. I will continue to fight for my refund. But this company could improve it's overall rating here if they actually, you know, worked for and with families.
