      Public Storage took my payments and still busted my locks and posted my items for auction. They said they would not replace my locks that I had to repurchase them. So can someone give me some legal advice on how to deal with this. I am unable to get my stuff out. I'm current on payment

      Good Afternoon I am writing in Regards to ****************** Unit 0729 Unit Size 10' x 20' The unprofessionalism and the lies that each member of this untrustworthy company have been very exhausting, District managers calling me to scheme plans to save money that later came back to bite me in the **** and having the distract manager blocking my number after attempting a follow up.Will never rent with them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      I have rented a unit from the location in **************************************************** and it has been a nightmare from the second I made my reservation online. I have been faithfully making my payments to them and have attempted to vacate the property, but they changed my lock without authorization and now I do not have access to the unit and cannot get any assistance from the office. I have tried to be patient by contacting them every day and each time they tell me I will get a call back and they do not resolve anything! I was even given the district manager's email and it's invalid, I left a voicemail on his extension and I have yet to receive a response. They make it impossible to resolve the issue and try to waste people's time, so that fees keep posting every month. OH but if payment is not received even with them knowing the situation happening, they are still quick to add late fees and demand payment threatening with eviction, etc. Do not rent from this location! It is not well kept either, rats, elevator never works, fire alarm is always on, access door alarm system is always on and the manager is never in the office. I have seen 3 different people in their office in one year alone. It is absurd!!!! Save the hassle and look elsewhere to store your items.*******'s manager's name is ***************** and the rude person in the office who called me about unfair charges and promising the late fee to be removed, her name is *****.

      Terrible business ethic, representatives do not understand the needs of their customers nor their facilities they get you to sign up with offers of special deals and then charge you administration nonrefundable fee is when the facility is terrible. I will make sure that everyone I come across those that they will just take your money and treat you like, you should not be there

      These people are crooks. I rented a storage unit for a year from them. They charged me multiple times for insurance I didnt need and for late fees. They refuse to work with you and when you try to move out they charge you for a full month based on their policy that they dont prorate. Everything is virtual or digital through an app. There is no customer service support if you need help. You either pay or get charged. You cant move your payment date. We rented a 5x4 for $80 a month. Go somewhere else and save a couple hundred in cash and yourself a few headaches.

      I HATE THIS PLACE SOLD MY UNIT WITH OUT NOTICE AND WAS NOT OVER **************************************************************************************************** THAT STORAGE SPACE THINGS THAT DONT HAVE A PRICE TO IT KIDS PICTURES, FAMILIES PHOTOS THAT GO GENRATIONS BACK, MY DECEASES GRANDSONS BELONGINGS YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO ROT IN H*** FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY FAMILY WE HAVE BEEN UP THERE CALLED MANAGERS DISTRICT MANAGERS LEFT MESSAGES WE PAID OUR BILL IN APRIL OR THIS WERE AUCTION OFF IN *** ? WHY WHY WHY ALL THEY COULD TELL US IS THAT WE OWE A 40$ late fee FOR MARCH AND THATS WHY MY WHOLE LIFE IS GONE THEY SENT OUT NO LETTER NO PHONE CALL NO NOTHING WE WENT TO PAY BILL FOR *** AND COULD NOT LOG IN ONLINE PORTAL WE MADE NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT SOMEONE AND WENT UP THERE NO ONE WAS ON DUTY FOR DAYS NO ONE ANSWERING PHONE WE HAD TO GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION TO FIND OUT OUR LIFE IS GONE GONE GONE MY COLLEGE DEGREES MY FAMILY ALOOMS MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS ALL GONE EVERYTHING GONE WITH NO ANSWER ***************************** WITH IS THE DISTRICT MANAGER ************ SAID HE WOULD MEET US THERE BACK IN *** 2024 WHEN HE FOUND OUT OUR SITUATION HE NEVER SHOWED I HATE THE COMPANY AND I HOPE SOMEONE VOLATILES THEM THE WAY I HAVE BEEN ROT IN A HOT FIREY H*** MY LIFE IS GONE MY WHOLE 38 year of life GONE NOT FROM MY DOING BUT BECAUSE OF A UNTRUSTWORTHY COMPANY THATS DOES NOT CHERISH THERE RENTERS PROPERTY AND DOES NOT ADHERE TO THERE OWN POLICIES NO NOTICE NO LETTER NO EMAIL NO PHONE CALL JUST YOUR UNIT HAS BEEN AUCTIONED OFF AND THATS IT WE PAID OUR BILL IN APRIL2024 OUR UNIT WAS AUCTION OFF *** 2024 IT DOESNT MAKE SINCE AND THEY DONT CARE **** IN H*** PUBLIC STORAGE ********************* MY UNIT NUMBER WAS A001 My husband name is *********************** mine ******************* ************ If anyone comes across anything of that unit its a try on faith please contact use we only want family momentous this of no value but to us DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!! !!!!

      Ive been a customer of the ******************************************* for about 2years my fee was around 150 dollars for a 5/10 so I asked them if theres any way I could lower my price. They said if was to move to a new storage unit it would drop to somewhat lower. And then I moved. With in between a three week span I was broken into and they stole everything I mean everything. Found out that the gate was open broke left up and anyone can come in for the entire time that I was gone. No cameras in any of the right places and Public Storage said they were not responsible. The insurance that are used are giving me the runaround about receipts and things as far as pictures of items that I used to have in storage which I dont have anymore theyre acting like theyre not going to pay. I would never use them for anything ever again

      This company ***** so much. They barely maintain their properties and yet my rent has more than double with their price hikes. Its a horrible place to have your belongings stuck. Dont use them. There are tons of places that are cheaper and dont take advantage of their customers every chance they get. You even have to purchase a lock from them. What a horrible insecure place. And lord help you if you need to talk to someone on-site, every time I show up during business hours no one is here.

      **************** is all but helpful. They are rude, lie, and hang up on customers after weeks of no communication. I had a unit go to auction and the proceeds were more than what was owed. On April 29th, 2024 I received a notice that the proceeds were more and to send the attached postcard to collect my money. I filled out the attached card, stuck a stamp on it, and sent it back to their PO Box. I followed up on May 16, 2024 around 8:45 PM who confirmed receipt of the letter, confirmed that it was enough and it would ***********-8 weeks to process. After multiple calls the last week of June, I finally received a voicemail from ****** on July 3rd asking me to call the customer service number ending in 8576 I called July 5th and the first representative told me the letter was actually NOT received. When I asked him why I was previously advised it was, he hung up on me. The second rep I spoke with told me too bad so sad and recited the information for the letter too fast to write down and when I asked him to hold on and slow down hung up on me. The 3rd rep I spoke with told me he couldn't give me any information for the letter and refused to transfer me. ****************************************************************************************************** (not sure which because the story changes with each rep) and the company refuses to make any attempt to rectify. Their customer service team and their processes need to be evaluated IMMEDIATELY.

      Public storage la habra ca unfairly charges long term rents over and beyond what is market value im paying $200 over what other same size units costs Do not rent a unit here!!!!
