            Unacceptable month-of wedding coordination that was totaled $3,100 for no work completed. She has blocked our numbers and we have no way to reach her. Email sent to S****: We politely request a response regarding the refund in the amount of $3100 for your coordination efforts. The following line items were not completed in a proper manner and therefore not in compliance with the contract we had signed: Month of Wedding Event Planner: - Well constructed time lines - vendor communication for seamless event execution - Assistance with overall decor decisions including linens, rentals, and more - Full wedding weekend time line constructed and approved by the client - detailed ceremony outline including seating of family, approved by officiate - final meetings with vendors to confirm details, catering, entertainment, venue - collection and transportation of all personal items for wedding day coordination Day of Coordinator: - a point of contact for the wedding day - all of the logistics of the wedding are handled - overseeing vendors, managing timeline, and ensuring the wedding is pulled off seamlessly - directions for all vendors and setup instructions - picking up last minute items - Assuring the reception location - coordination with venue site manager and vendors while moving to corresponding activities - gathering all items to be packed with family or picked up the following week We strongly believe each and every line item listed here was either not done at all or done with such a lack of effort and professionalism. With that stated, we believe this to be a breach of contract and would love to settle this now prior to preparing legal counsel. Hopefully we can settle this soon, we can be reasonable in a solution but ignoring this surely will not be of benefit.

            While S**** was wonderful to work with up until the wedding and picked gorgeous high-quality flowers, she did disappoint us on our wedding day. Prior to the wedding, she was great at working within our price range and creatively finding ways to make the floral arrangements at our wedding stand out and feel special. The flowers were stunning, and they stayed perfect throughout the entire wedding. However, around a week before the wedding, Sandy continued to message me many times regarding questions surrounding the vases, changes she wanted to make to the potting of our vases (since she was considering using pebbles for our fishbowls but hadn’t asked us about it until the night before our wedding), and other questions surrounding my bouquet. While I would have let all that go, the day of the wedding just made it all worse. On the day of the wedding, Sandy showed up to deliver the flowers to the venue and set everything up as we had previously agreed upon. She was visibly upset and when I asked her what was wrong, she let me know that there had been a family emergency. Due to this, she needed to leave only 2 hours after she had arrived. Due to her family emergency, Sandy left with most of the table vases left unfinished which left my friends and family to finish and set everything up on the tables (which was Sandy’s responsibility), taking them hours to complete and away from wedding day festivities. After the wedding, we reached out to Sandy, and after many months she finally got back to us and provided a partial refund for the set-up fee. All in all, I would recommend Sandy for her taste and quality in flowers. Overall, I would not recommend her for an event like a wedding due to the many complications that arise with weddings, you need a reliable florist, which was not Sandy for us.
