    Payment made via Zelle 6/29/2022 Amount of $1,341.49 For an ATV tour for 5 people on 07/01/2022 at 10:00am I received a call the morning of 7/1/2022 at 8:37am from *** at MC Adventure Rentals stating that the one of the vehicles be that we needed in order to accommodate all 5 people was not functioning and the would only be able to accommodate 4 people at a time instead of 5. One person would have to wait. I returned the call and spoke with *** the original person I made the reservation with and the person that left the message. I let him know that since the tour could not accommodate the original amount of people that we would like to cancel. He told me verbally that he would send the cancellation to the accounting department and we would receive a credit in a few days for the entire amount. It is now 7/6 and I have called and left messages for accounting and sent an email. I received no calls back. Today I called and spoke with someone in reservations and was told that I would not receive a refund, but instead a credit to be used within 12 months. I told him that was unacceptable and wanted to speak to the owner. I was told I could not and then asked to speak to the manager. Originally the person who answered the phone would not give me the managers name. After a 10 minute hold I was told the manager could not speak to me and that he said the same thing. No refund. The manger's name was ****. I asked to please have **** call me back to discuss.

    Date of transaction: June 6, 2022 The amount of money paid to the business: $1341.49 What the business committed to provide: We were misled in understanding that we will not all be riding atvs at the same time. When I spoke to the owner's associate he confirmed with us that we will be switching off on the atv, while some will be passengers on the buggy. We specifically booked this knowing that we would all be riding atvs at the same time for the whole 2 hours. The business associate also said he would pass it along to the owner, ****, to follow up and he never called back. Finally 3 days after I tried calling back and was able to get ahold of him. There is also no mention of no refunds or cancellations on the follow up email that was sent to us on the date it was purchased. We had to pay him immediately through our bank without a formal receipt. What the nature of the dispute is: The owner made us believe we would all be riding atvs at the same time and that is not the case. We talked with him and booked that same day because of the details he provided knowing that we had 5 people eagerly wanting to drive an atv the whole time and not be a passenger. A couple weeks later I called to confirm that we would all be receiving atvs and the owner danced around the question saying that at times we will all be "able" to ride our atv but not at the same time. I asked to cancel and to receive a refund since this is not what we understood at the time of booking the rentals. He refused and began to say that they will be waiting for us and it is up to us what we want to do. What I want to do is courteously cancel 3 weeks in advance to save them time and money or to see if he could assist us in anyway to provide 4 more atvs, but he refused. He did not try to compromise or assist the customer. The business refuses to give us our money back to resolve this issue. To make this right and settle this arrangement is to cancel and receive all of our money back. Please help, thank you!
