      Air conditioner was installed incorrectly and caused a roof leak. Mercury Insurance fixed the leak inside the house, but has asked us to reach out to American Air Conditioning & Heating to fix all the mistakes they made when installing. Currently Mercury insurance has retained National Subrogation Services LLC to collect our deductible as well as what Mercury had to paid for the repairs caused by American Air Conditioning & Heating bad installation. I called American Air Conditioning & Heating and spoke to ****** ***** Manager, and she advised me that we would have to pay ******* for them to visit our residence. I don not feel we should pay anything as we have proof they installed the air conditioner incorrectly. I told **** ***** that Aussie Blue Roofers sent by Mercury Insurance provided us with an inspection report but she said that American Air Conditioning & Heating would have to send a technician for $129 and she would only wave the fee if they were found liable. I attached the copy of the inspection report from Aussie Blue Roofers, here is the phone number of ********** ******* representing Mercury Insurance XXX XXX-XXXX. Per ****** **** as of ******* had no clue National Subrogation National was trying to get reimbursement for Mercury Insurance. Thank you very much in advance for your help and serviced.       This company sales faulty systems under false pretenses. I was sold a defective system for the full price. The system was not heating,(brand new) within 6 months of being installed. It took the company a whole 2 months to finally determine system was defective. It took them another 2 weeks to finally repair/ replace some parts leaving me now with a refurbished system, after I paid full price. They brag about selling the best systems made in the US however that was not my experience. They advertise 100% money back guarantee trial if the customer is not satisfied with their system. I asked for a refund to due to this issue and they refused, they said we could work something out, they would look into my file. Now another two months have gone by and I continue to get the run around by. ****** the office manager who doesn't seem to care to help, always putting excuses why she hasn't gotten a chance to look at my file to resolve this matter. I would like to contact higher management but am always refused their info and told by ****** she would take care of it. I am trying to avoid having to go through arbitration with this matter and resolve in the must amicable way possible. I am asking the BBB to step in and force this company to show face and provide the services they claim and advertise. It's time someone speaks up so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. I am attaching a copy of their money back guarantee advertisement and the last email I received and have yet to hear back. Please help!

After speaking in length with ****** we had agreed that she would refund me 25% off my purchase price for the system that resulted faulty. I was originally asking for 30% off, however she kept refusing and saying that they provide the best price in the industry. Which is a lie sinceI've received quotes from other AC company's for way less, and including docs which were not included in my purchase. Now I am being told that the company wants to offer me $** in refund with 3 additional years of warranty, which I am refusing. Again, they are suckering me in and at the end I'm stuck with them. This respond by American AC systems is not to my consent. I refuse this offer and want them to honor what ****** and I had discussed, not to mention they claim their system are energy saving and my utility bills have increase. I have reached out to the Manager ****** regarding warranty information and here we are going on 2 weeks with no response. American Air Conditioning and Heating is*************, they hand no sense of urgency in resolving this matter. This is the company that will install and *** system and charge you $80 a few months later when you call them to come look at it because it's acting up. They are shady and over priced, they need to compensate us accordingly. I refuse this excuse and will look into legal action if they do not respond accordingly to my request that means paperwork on the system they sold me. They claim it has a warranty but I have NEVER received any paperwork from them with coverage details; aside from the folder with the loan agreement, that for sure they made sure I signed. The consumer needs to know what they are getting into with this company.

      I purchased a brand new airconding unit from American airconding and heating in Inglewood XXXXX a *********************** XXXXX on X-XX-XXXX the purchase price was $********* and a year later they came and showed me pictures of my air ducts that are disinagrated and said I need to spent another ******* for new ones I said that's unheard of why didn't they check them before they put a unit on my roof that I can't just take of and return I have been in contact with the manager ****** and ***** for 4 months going back and forth ****** refuses to give me a contact number to reach the owner she also said that at the time I can have a clean and seal done but my duct are shot so I said that would have been a waste of more money I told them they need to replace them for free at least if I would have known before they put the unit on I would have had a choice but know I am obviously stuck they won't do it for free they are now offering me $**** to have them installed I said no they either take it back or install it for free please help me I don't want them to scam anyone else thank you

When she was told a year later that the ductwork SHOULD be replaced and she was given a rough quote of $********* We then sent the salesperson who sold her the system who quoted $**** and at the time offered to get a manager to negotiate but she declined. We did also repair the only duct that was disconnected at that same appointment for no charge. We later offered her a duct replacement at cost to us for the price of $**** (less than half of our normal rate) with the mention that had she done it in the beginning, it would have been at least $****** for both the system and the ductwork at that time (she paid $****** for her system in 2020). She declined to have the duct work done. She wants free ductwork: we declined to give it to her for free. After reviewing her system, it was recommended that she have her system replaced due to the age and condition of it. During the consultation, it was noted that her duct work was also in poor condition and we recommended that she have the duct work cleaned and sealed while we were installing the new equipment. The quote for that work was declined by the customer. A year later we noticed that the duct work was in worse shape and we recommended that it be replaced. We quoted her for that work and she declined. Neither duct work repair nor replacement were included with her equipment replacement purchase she made from us but it was an option that she was offered but that she declined to have included or performed. Later we offered to replace the duct work for half-price for her in an effort of good customer service, but she declined. In our opinion, she is trying to get something for nothing. Our last comment stands.       American air conditioning and heating ********** sent ****** to my house to inspect central heating and air conditioning unit. ****** deliberately damaged my compressor by breaking 2 electrical connections and the fuses and not sure if more damage was done by ******. Concerned to use the unit because of ****** damage might cause a fire and or kill me and my family

We dispute any allegations that **. ********* is making regarding ****** damaging his compressor. ****** has been with our company for over 3 years, he is an Army veteran who served for 12 years in Afghanistan and Iraq. Not only would he never deliberately damage a client's equipment, but we have never had any complaints against ****** in the time he has been with us. We believe that ************'s claims are false. But the monies was not returned I have letter from credit card company that the monies was not returned so I filed this complaint because this is wrong and should never happen to a customer. **** on purpose caused damage to my air-condition condenser and now I'm concerned that he could have damaged my heater or who knows what. American Air-condition and Heating said the monies was refunded because they agreed that **** caused the damage to my air-condition compressor.       In July 2009, we bought new airconditioning & heating unit from American Air Conditioning & Heating with Lifetime warranties in parts and labor, the contract of which was written by *********, son of the company"s owner. We have been very happy with the company's service & even referred my sister to them where she also got her AC & Heating this June. This June, we had our regular maintenance service and we were told something was wrong with the AC and has had 2 people checked it. The last person, ************ said there is a limit to how many times it could be repaired, it being an old system & less efficient. He encouraged us to get a new system and after much negotiation, which took us close to 4 hours, the cost & warranties of the system cost us $22,000 payable in a year with no interest. My question to the company is, what happened to the lifetime warranties in parts & labor from our contract in 2009? The pressure was there to change into a new system or wait awhile for the part .
