Hard to believe it's been about 40 years that Albert Nahman has been taking care of my house's plumbing and heating needs - keeping our 1912 Ruud tankless water heater going strong well after no spare parts were available, then installing a current-generation AquaStar. Their team of consummate professionals has never disappointed, always friendly and able to answer all questions. They price by the job and the amount of time they think they will need. We paid over $700 for 1 hour and 10 minutes (from start to finish) total time at the apartment to unclog a toilet. Yes he had to unbolt the toilet and snake, but really, that was worth $700? ( the bill started at $1100 and we got a $400 credit). Hi *******- we're sorry to hear we didn't meet your expectation. Our policy, which is consistent with industry standard is to do flat rate pricing so customers can decide and approve before proceeding. We find that this is better for customers so they're not subsequently surprised by the bill after the work is done. Initial in person meeting with a company representative occurred today with purpose of gathering information and generating a quotation. Jason was on time and completed taking measurements and pictures. All was great except for his accidental removal of our doorbell cam that set off an alarm. 10/6/2024 - Ongoing Toilet Leak Issue Unresolved Since February Dear Albert Nahman Plumbing,I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme frustration regarding the ongoing toilet leak issue that has yet to be resolved, despite numerous attempts to rectify it.The problem began in February 2024, when my toilet started leaking and refilling its tank every 2 to 4 hours. Since March 18, 2024, I have had five appointments with your team to address this issue. I have paid a total of $545 for a new canister flush valve and a new toilet fill valve, yet the toilet continues to leak exactly the same way it did before.What is particularly disheartening is the lack of communication since August. I have repeatedly tried to reach out via email and phone, but my messages have gone unanswered (August to October). I chose your company based on your good ratings and the assumption that I would receive quality service from a licensed plumber. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite the opposite.I would appreciate a prompt response to this matter and a clear plan for how we can finally resolve the leak. The technician lied that he found and fixed the problem. This fix worked not even 10 minutes.He was called back and found a different problem for the same issue.The tech was very rude. They wanted to charge me more labor in additional money they had already charged.Not an honest business. Do not deal with them.Albert Nahman Plumbing Heating and Cooling
