      Started the Program in November 2019 I was told a set rate that would be taken out over a 4 month period. It was taken out for 8 months. I was told of a monthly fee. They take out 2 monthly fees and they take out 2 different fees for every case settled. I gave them a new account to direct debit and they messed up the account number 2 months in a row. They charged me fees for 2 months because of their mistake. I get paid on certain days and sometimes it falls between 2-5 days after payment is due. They told me as long as I give a 10 day notice it is okay. They charge me $20 each time I've had to adjust my payment by a few days. When I signed up for the program they disclosed the fees, but they never disclosed about any other fees that they have been taking. Some of these fees are $.01, $.02, $10.75, $12.25, $19.95, $59.25. It does not seem like much, but over 3 years time that adds up to a lot of money.

      I had a debt consolidation opened because I believed they were able to help me with my debt. I had debt ranging from $500 to $****. They had mentioned they start negotiating with the creditors on the ones with the lowest balance first. I was even told over the phone that with my first payment, they would be able to start working on my credit card with the lowest balance. However; that was not the case. They hadn't contacted not one creditor I listed. Luckily I cut the contract after about 3 or 4 months in. I haven't received my refund. I ended up paying all the missed payments I've accrued and was left with a really bad credit score.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/22) */ ******* ****** signed a 24 month contract, so that Golden Law could settle the 8 enrolled accounts on or before the end of the program. She decided to prematurely cancel the program after only 3 months, therefore not allowing Golden Law to do its job. Her complaints are without merit, as all the creditors were contacted and all the accounts would have been settled had she not prematurely canceled. Golden Law states they had contacted all the creditors, which is false. I kept getting calls from my creditors and when I spoke to a few, none were contacted by Golden Law. Had they done so, my creditors would have been contacting Golden Law rather than calling me every other day. I even had to explain to them about the debt consolidation which is why I knew they weren't contacted by them.       I had a contract with golden law to help with debt consolidation which list all the account they were to settle. I paid 377 a month for 28 months. At which time they said they needed another **** dollars or 12 more months in program to settle rest of the accounts. I paid a total of ** for them to settle only 3 accounts that the balance was less than **. So they claim they saved me ****. However I paid ** for services plus escrow for a total of ***** for them to settle ** credit. They did not do what they said they were going to do after I paid. The 2 main accounts with almost 10k they did not do anything with

      I started services through ********************** who uses Golden Law LLP. I met with the notary and received a follow-up call shortly after. During this call I told them to cancel as I could not afford services. On the 23rd of September, I noticed they were still trying to pull money from my account and messaged them on their secure messenger asking them to cancel, again. On the 28th of September, they pulled $******. And refunded me $23. I have since been fighting with them on this issue and they refuse to refund me. I have also disputed this issue with my bank.

      I was contacted by Golden Law LLP in February 2021, because I was searching for a debt management program. I had worked successfully with a company about 20 years ago, so had high hopes. They told me they could get me out of debt in 30 months, and I would pay them $363.36 per month. Two months later, I added a account, and Golden Law's price jumped to $482.44. I discovered this past week that not a single creditor has been contacted or paid. My money is being held by Global GHLLC, and the only payments made have been to this company themselves. One of the creditors I contacted referred me to an attorney (Friday, 17 September 2021). As it happened, a notice to appear in court on October 27th was being sent out that day to me; I caught it in time and paid $******* to the attorney to catch up with my payments. I contacted Golden Law immediately afterwards to let them know I want to leave the program. As of this writing, there has been no response.

      I enrolled in the Golden Law, LLP Debt Resolution Program in October 2019. The program drafted $395.06 from my bank account and it was supposed to last 42 months in order to negotiate settlements with my 15 creditors. At month 22, I was sued 4 times in 1 month and had to negotiate my own settlements. I then started calling my creditors only to find that not all of my creditors had even been contacted by Golden Law, LLP! As a matter of fact I was in FAR worse shape at this point than when I began with this program because all the late fees, interest etc. continued to accrue on my credit cards. At the end of this 22 month period, Golden Law had only paid off 1 creditor and I personally called and negotiated settlements with the rest of them. As it turns out, of the $395 they were drafting monthly, $333.74 was going directly to Golden Law, LLP and only $61.32 was going into my holding account to pay my creditors! This company is a scam, a fraud and predatory.

      I entered in to an agreement with the Golden Law firm to handle my debts. They have not been in contact with me except to answer my messages, which concerned my program. Answers were not specific to enough for me to have a clear understanding of what was going on. I want to get out of the program, I have determined it is not in my best interest. It does not live up to what their representative told me when I entered into the program.
