      start of service 8/1/2024 I need the company to stop sending my bills to my land lord. it may lead to conflict and us being told to move out. im available to discuss this matter in detail with the bbb via phone or email

      On October 2023 I had closed my account for trash pick up from Advance Disposal. I did not need their services any longer after 9 years of service since I moved to ******* and the house in ********** was empty and no one living in it. The real estate market was bad at this point and the house had been put on the market in July of 2023 but hadn't sold.Upon moving I terminated my contract with Advance Disposal and my account # ********** was place as inactive.All of a sudden, on January 1, 2024, I began to get billed for trash pick up at the California house even thou my account was inactive and the house was empty and no one living there or producing trash.I called Advance Disposal in January, explained the situation to a supervisor ( Crystal) and was told to send my realtor contract proving that the house was empty and for sale. She apologized for the inconvenience and would reverse the charges and close the bill. Great!???On December *******, I received a letter for a collection agency dated 11/21/2024 for the amount of $114.79. I've made several attempts by phone to clarify the situation to no avail.I have included below all the documentation and hope you can help straighten this out, especially since these services were never used and previous account was slated as inactive and this contract was terminated.
