We hired a contractor to install solar on the house and they used an apparently not good electrician to do the job, however that has nothing to do with these guys I'm filing a complaint with. We had contacted them to give us a bid on changing out a wire way installed incorrectly. They knew time was of the essence and they took a reasonable amount of time to get out for an inspection however they took a week and half to get us the bid. The bid was for $7,250. For a relatively simple job. After a few choice words after reacting to the price I asked if I could get a breakdown of the estimate. They said that would be fine and to give them a couple days. A week later I follow up with them and they said they decided they didn't want the job because I got upset and yelled at them for price gouging. This was terribly inconvenient since it cost us 3 weeks just to hear them say they didn't want to do a simple wire way replacement. To put into perspective to replace the whole meter can and service box (much harder job labor and material) cost should be around 2-4k. I'd love to see the breakdown of price because this is pure price gouging and wasting 3 weeks of my project time to now have to find someone else.

My name is *************;***** and I am the office manager for Electricians Service Express. I am writing you this email in response to the false allegations that were received by complaint ID# ********.

On 12/22/2023 we received a call from someone called ******* claiming that he is a general contractor in **** and needed a licensed electrician in CA to take a look at a project that was faulty by his own private crew. Therefore he didn't pass the rough or final electrical inspection.

As part of our customer **********************, we offered him a free estimate in person. ******* was not at the job site, neither the homeowner. On 12/23/2023 we visited the job site at 10:45 am ,
