      I received a call from Freeway Insurance from *********. Explained my situation and he was going to help me get a better rate at a lower cost. He sent me an email and walked me through the ensign telling me there was a deposit that was needed. Then it changed to a startup fee. Later that night my wife and I went over the information since I have dyslexia . And we realized it was not Freeway Insurance. It was ****** insurance. And that the fees are agents fees not a startup or deposit fee ****** insurance doesnt have them. So I called ********* the next day around 10 AM and asked him to cancel the insurance before the payment went to my credit card. He said ok that fine but there is a cancellation fee and he would send me an email. I never received an email for cancellation. So I contacted.****** insurance and they told me that you not ask for a deposit or start up fee. But they do have a cancellation fee of $20 and I was told I would receiving a check for $1200 in the mail when freeway charged my card $1743.46 this company is a scam taking peoples hard earned money. Claiming to be helping all they have done was put me in a financial hardship while taking my money

      If I could give less than a star I would, I currently and did did already have insurance with first acceptance ( theyve been great) I was looking for an insurance policy in another state which didnt have first acceptance, when I found out Id have to fix some issues with my car first I kept my policy I already had and canceled this policy for aspen insurance expecting to get my ****** down payment back, after speaking with aspen they informed me of the processing fees associated with using another company ( which I HAD ZERO IDEA ) of. I thought ********* ****** was a part of aspen insurance especially when he said it was a ****** down payment towards the insurance not for processing fees associated with the use of another insurance broker. He misrepresented himself as well as the costs associated with starting the plan. No one seems to want to refund me my money since I signed the documents which in the history of the document shows I would have signed in under 10 seconds ( absolutely not ). They lie and lie again, it is not a down payment it is for their next shopping spree. This company is not here to help you they are here to steal your money. End of the day I want my $10 convince fee back. I want my $30 documentation and imaging fee returned. And I want my agency fee of ****** returned. On the basis of I had NO idea thats what I was paying for. I would have went with another company whose price goes to the same company for your cost of insurance. When you call their customer service they send you the document allegedly you signed and dont offer a solution, let alone them saying I still had an active policy with them??? Liars, liars and cheaters. I have the document viewing history, my refund check and the originating emails from Mr ****** which didnt show the break down of what I paid until after the money was taken.

      The company is a scam. I am retired senior who was looking for a insurance that I could afford with minimal coverage. When speaking with the representative , I was given a quote which was fair to me. Paid for the policy and reviewed with the agent. During the process I noticed a discrepancy on the policy. The policy was cancelled within 5 minutes before signing. Received an email stating that the policy had been canceled then the email was retracted. Then I was told that I needed to sign a paper confirming that the policy was canceled, however I never received that email. After speaking with so called supervisors of which I have every name, I was told that the monies would be refunded. It has been a month now and I have spoken with more than 10 reps with no refund as of today. Not only did I have to purchase a policy from someone else spending money that I did not have, I have yet to receive any replies from the company. I will be carrying this issue further into civil court along with taking whatever other action needed . I suggest that if anyone is in need do know buy from here. Thinking that I would have coverage that I could afford as a senior was a mistake on my part. For a company to take advantage of those who are in my classification is well above WRONG!!!!****** T

      This Insurances company is sham , a fraud company that doesnt want to pay for damages that one of thier customers was at fault for, hit my car on January 20, 2025 gave us the run around all month waited until February 12th to tell us we were at fault. She hit my vehicle in a parking lot she came around my husband cut it too close hit our vehicle which wasnt even moving at the time but Ms. ******** deemed it was our fault, how if were just waiting our time to go? They probably dont even pay for their own customers vehicles to get fix think twice before using this company!

      ******** experience and business practices. I bought auto insurance (only liability) through them for $285/ month for 6 months. At time of purchase, they required a down payment; okay I did. Once I finished my payment and reviewed the documents I saw that almost everything that they do for you as a FAVOR has a cost. Of course, they didn't mention these fees associated. A commission (non-refundable) for the broker, a fee for split payments, a fee for doing a down payment instead of paying in full, and a fee for "documentation and imaging". Ridiculous!!! So, I went home and started to look for auto insurance elsewhere. I was rushed because I waited until the last minute, but ****** Auto Insurance was a lifesaver. I was able to do everything online and customize what I wanted. I was able to get full coverage insurance for only $185/ month for 6 months so I went and cancelled my Freeway Insurance policy (in person!!!! another hassle that you have to go through. It was 2024, everything should be online!) I cancelled it after I made one payment. I am only expecting that money back, minus the non-refundable broker fee :( and the policy to be cancelled. I sign and leave. Funny enough, I receive mail that says that I owe them $200 and they have been trying to contact me. Why would I owe if I cancelled the policy and received my refund? So I called. After the first **** customer service agent gave me attitude someone was able to explain that since Freeway Insurance took out the full total of the policy for me I was expected to pay the remaining balance. It made no sense if I had cancelled the policy. Whatever, I asked to make payments. They said sure and we started with $50 and they said that I can call back in a week to figure out the remainder. NOOOOOOO!!!They automatically took out the remaining $150 from my checking account the following week when I was going to call and make another payment. I advise no one to spend their time and money with Freeway Insurance. AWFUL!
