Around 01/06/22 I brought my van to Aamco located in ****************, ** to get work done on my transmission. The work promised was a transmission that would last "forever" with a warranty of 18 months/ 18000 miles for an estimated cost of 2,438$. The work was completed around 01/17/22 to be picked up but when I opened my van **** I was very upset to see my driver's inside **** handle laying on the walk-in step and my rug was completely soiled with oil like they didnt put down a covering when working on the vehicle. I immediately saw and confronted the mechanic to which he responded "that handle was a pain in the ass". **** agreed to take money off for the rug and agreed to look around for handles for my van. At this time I contacted Aamco corporate and was later contacted by sales rep ***************************************** who confirmed with me they needed to fix the **** handle. **************** Aamco did not follow up with me or return my calls and the last time I was in contact with ******** was 02/27/22. I relocated to the city in March and mostly used public transportation. Around the second week of August my transmission started to go and completely went but 08/16/22. I had it towed to another ammco but was informed **************** Aamco would not honor the warranty. When I called ** Aamco they first told me to call back for a balance, they didn't know the balance, to talk to the owner, to the owners sick and to call back again. This went on for at least a week plus some causing me tremendously anxiety and confusion. I paid ** Aamco 2,200$ and they state I owe them 348$. I am trying to resolve this issue but the lack of communication or call backs from **************** Aamco and ******** who is handling the complaint is causing me an immense amount of stress and anxiety. Noone from Huntington Aamco has ever contacted me or called me back ever, and has never discussed the balance amount to me directly, I only found out the 348$ balance from the Aamco my van is at now.
