    On 4/15/22 7:35pm I called AAA Animal hospital to see if they can examine my dog as she started exhibiting acute neurological symptoms (loss of balance and rapid eye movement). I was told to bring her in. She had loss of appetite and appeared lethargic throughout the day. Unfortunately, the veterinary doctor was unable to diagnose her and agreed with things I mentioned I read about online. It could be maybe were his words that were said. My dog was sent home when should have been referred for treatment at an emergency pet hospital. Yet, AAA managed to charge me $523 for various treatments with no definitive prognosis. Maybe an ear infection but is not that badwas said but yet the second veterinarian I took her to in the morning asked if an ear sample was taken to rule out a middle ear infection? No such sample was taken when it should have been to determine whether oral antibiotics need to be started. I was sent home with a mere tiny bottle of ear drops and an oral steroid medication even though I told the doctor my dog is unable to tolerate anything by mouth. My dog was admitted this morning and is being treated accordingly by another veterinarian, where I am paying out of pocket again to correct the lack of treatment that was provided last night at AAA.

    I IGNORED THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND REGRETIT. I have never in my life left a negative review, until now. My experience at AAA animal hospital was extremely disappointing and disheartening. I brought my cat here to board from December *****th. Before she was able to be boarded, AAA required a ***** sample, which they did and came back negative. She was flea and worm free. I called everyday to check in on her and make sure she was eating and drinking and every time I was told shes doing just fine, I picked her up on the 29th they told me they had bathed her and trimmed her nails and I asked if they noticed anything wrong and they told me they hadnt and that she was doing well. I brought her home and took her out of the carrier and immediately noticed she had lost significant weight, had worms in her stool, and was limping from her nails being trimmed too short. She is already a very small cat (regularly 8lbs) and when I weighed her she was only 5lbs. I understand animals get sick and things like this happen but what I dont understand is why I had to find out myself and they never once had the decency to mention any of this to me when I called or on their own volition. I went back to their location hoping for some type of explanation on what happened and give them the chance to make it right. I spoke with the office manager, since I guess the owner is out of town for a month. She did not take any accountability and instead chose to gaslight me and try to belittle. She just kept on saying if we had noticed anything we would have called you worms dont work like that and she didnt have anything wrong with her while she was here. She never once apologized or seemed to have any intention to. I showed them the receipts (I had to take my cat to her usual vet to be treated for the diarrhea and worms) asked for some type of refund to help cover the vet bills, and she refused. She said theres nothing she can do but would have someone call me back after the new year
