Subject: Request for Review and Reimbursement - BBB Complaint -Entrusted the care of my cat ***** to your practice since 2018.-Concerned about *****'s dental care under your supervision. Misdiagnosed, Diagnosis missed, Standard of care for Dental Procedures not followed ie: No **Rays, no referral to specialist -Diagnosed with gingivitis, stomatitis, and gum disease; dental specialist later found no stomatitis.-Procedures involved antibiotics, steroids, and dental drilling without **rays, contrary to standard care.-I never have declined any recommended care, to help *****, but records incorrectly state I declined **rays.-Misdiagnosed *****s condition and did not refer to a specialist despite recurring issues. Told me it was his age. It wasn't. ***** was diagnosed with teeth resorption which is common in cats -Website claims referrals to specialists, but none were made.-Dental specialist found overlooked issues, including tooth resorption, and hidden problems visible only on a CT scan.-Specialist discovered protruding tooth fragments; ***** had to undergo anesthesia again. Work had to be redone and missed work had to be completed.-Negligent and unethical to leave work incomplete, perform incorrect work, and not refer to a specialist.-Beach-Garfield failed to send *****'s records to the dental specialist after promising to do so. I called them and the ************* called them. Never Sent. Said the Dr was reviewing the records prior to sending. Why would you have to review documentation already completed?-Sent a certified letter on 5/8 with no response.-Requesting thorough review of billing for *****'s dental treatments.-Seeking reimbursement for inadequate services, neglect, not following standard of care and corrective procedures: Billing: *************** = $4,390 (this is excluding additional specialist costs for correct diagnosis and treatment)Ethically, I am hoping this can be resolved. I am very sad at what ***** has gone through.
