We have two mazdas CX5 and Mazda3. They were running fine until we started getting ghost touch issue in our infotainment system ince past couple of years or so. This issue is getting worst. It is extremely dangerous to drive on the road with maps on. It abruptly stops navigation or opens music or turns off lights while on the road. Luckily, I have not been in an accident so far because of this issue so far. It is outrageous how Mazda gets away with pushing such software and not fixing it for such a long time. It is hazard to the driver and everyone driving on the road. I hope Mazda fixes this issue on both of our cars and other Mazda owners as well for everyones safety.

I purchased my brand new 2024 Mazda CX-5 in November 2023. Not any issues with the car itself. I was happy with my purchase.February 2nd 2024 I got into an accident which had $26,000 worth of damage. Insurance did not total it out which meant they had to collect a handful of parts for. Mazda. It had been close to 2 months now and Mazda does not have an air pressure pipe NO WHERE in the US for this car. The collision center has their hands tied and my rental has lapsed with my insurance. I called the Mazda location I bought the car from yesterday along with customer care and finance and not a single person would provide any solution. I asked if I could have a loaner, even if I had to pay for it with a discount, or an extended warranty since at this point my car is collecting dust and not a single person showed any compassion or resolution on how they could assist. Accidents can be very draining and stressful and while I had faith in Mazda when I purchased my car it was full of fake clouds due to the fact Im in a bind and no one cares to help or show any compassion. Unfortunately Im stuck with this car for a while but I have posted on social media what happened and will make sure I will not buy a Mazda in the future.

Every year for my 2.7 years <36k Mazda 3 is, I have a $500+ problem. Then I have to deal with their sleazeball scamming dealerships from ** to PA all acting the same, claiming nothing at all can be covered under warranty from their crappy UNSAFE cars that constantly break. This year I had (or at least someone noticed) a bolt that the head broke off on the bottom of the car for the steering component. Apparently it's unsafe to drive with "a wheel that could come off at any moment" and will cost $1800 to fix.Why is it not covered under the bumper to bumper warranty, according to the dealer? Because it happened due to "rust." The thing is, the other bolt on the other side of the same component isn't "rusted" at ALL. Supposedly, Mazda fixed their uniquely bad rust problems over a decade ago. Far more likely that the reason was the bolt was defective or was over-torqued, causing it to snap off THEN rusting. After all, I've been driving that death trap of a car with that clanking noise indicating this problem for as long as I can remember. So the bolt snapped off due to a manufacturing defect (like the slew of other problems I've had with this Mazda) then the under areas obviously aren't covered with rust protection coating, showing the rust you see.The issue I'm having is the dealer defaulted to "rust" over "manufacturing defect" because it's easier and not covered under warranty, rather than EVEN MENTIONING this far more likely possibility. I escalated my claim to a Mazda claim manager. Also filing a complaint with NHTSA because I'm having a hard time believing this is only my Mazda and you could not even know this very dangerous problem is there

Same broken, dysfunctional company as Mazda ******. Helping a unhappy Mazda customer is not one of ****************** NorthAmericas strengths. I contacted Mazda *** to ask for Mazda ***** email address to let them know dysfunctional Mazda ****** is.No reply (just like Mazda ******) but they are so messed up after not replying at all, I get a survey request from their useless off shore call centre.Unreliable cars backed by customer service that makes the government look smart First and last Mazda

I have left a complaint with mazda north america about my car. I purchased a used cx-9 from a dealership and the engine 2.5 turbocharged failed because of factory defect. Between the dealership and Mazda Corporation leaders I have been left to pay for a new engine out of my own pocket $15,000.00. Mazda Corporation really not understanding what harm they are doing to families who are struggling to pay bills and live. These very same people just point fingers at each other and refuse to help while the customer is forced to pay for their defected products. Shame on you Mazda

2014 Mazda CX-5. As many people have already posted throughout the internet, I am having issues with the car turning off but the sensor believes it is not in park and the battery power will not turn off. Had the issue in June 2021. Having the issue again in Nov 2023. Mazda should have owned up to this and covered the costs. Bought a ****** with my last purchase. Mazda lost me.

Awful customer service. They cracked a front windshield while car was in for service. Despite their admission, refused to fix it. I would recommend never buying a car from them.

I bought my Mazda from this location a few years back. I made an appointment for a recall and to have an appraisal done. When I came to pick up my car today, I was told "The guy who did your appraisal does not want your car". That guy is *********************. I asked to speak with him, and without even saying hello, ***** came out of his office and said "Listen I don't want your car." I said" *****, I asked how much my car is worth not if you want it." I also reminded him that my car was bought from this location in case he might not have known that and that was the reasoning for his rude and unprofessional behavior. ***** told me to go use ***** Blue Books online. I asked him if this is how he represents Mazda and if he thinks his response to me is appropriate. ***** then said like "Like I said, I don't want your car so I am not doing business with you." To top that off, they left my lights on after performing the recall and left my car with 0 miles left of gas "because they needed to replace the fuel pump for the recall." I called corporate and they refunded me the $150 I paid to have an "exam" done. The corporate representative said this location has complaints all the time. PLEASE STAY SAFE, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, AND DO NOT GO TO ******** MAZDA. You'll see me on a moped before you see me in a Mazda again.

Major issue with this vehicle. Mazda is well aware of a flaw with the oil valve seals leaking oil into the combustion chamber. This causes oil to be consumed at a high rate. I was unaware of this issue until the oil pressure light came on and I was nearly out of oil. There is a *** on this issue and Mazda has been aware of this problem since 10/21. It took them a year to come up with a fix for the faulty parts. The *** is 54 pages for the repair and very extensive. The problem is, despite knowing about the issue, the hoops you have to jump through to get Mazda to fix the issue is unacceptable. Its acceptable for Mazda for consumers drive around with leaking valve seals. This is my first and last Mazda. I was stranded looking for oil in the middle of nowhere with a vehicle less than 2 years old and 20k miles. Mazda *** was no help. I expected that I was buying a quality vehicle from what I thought was quality brand. Stay away from Mazda. They do not back their products or remedy their mistakes.

BEWARE! I am an owner of a 2017 CX5 that I have meticulously maintained and recently just paid off. I purchased from a local ******* dealership in 2018, my car had 30 miles on it and I am the sole owner. I just brought my car to the dealership for a routine appt, or so I thought. I mentioned the car seemed a bit louder than usual and was informed later in the day that my transmission needed to be completely replaced. I HAVE 43K MILES ON MY CAR!! I am currently in an obnoxious battle with corporate who are unwilling to cover this as it is not Mazda 'protocol' but apparently selling lemons is.... They also are fighting me on a possible loaner car as this may take up to a month to resolve. I work a full time job, but again covering this is not Mazda 'protocol'. Do your homework before buying, upon researching I found a number of articles with people having the same issue: ********************************************************************* also spoke with ******* at corporate (ext *******) and he explained that corporate was not willing to do more for this issue because I hadn't always serviced my car at their dealerships... talk about a scam. Never again will I purchase a Mazda.
