I payed for my renewal of service on the 20th of January 2025. I received a confirmation number and alert from my credit card company that the transaction had been made. I tried repeatedly to contact LoJack and ask why they canceled my service. They said non-payment at first. I provided them with a confirmation number, date, and screen shot of the transaction. They now say that they are having issues and are trying to resolve them. I haven't had service for two months now. I want my money back or service restored immediately.Initial Complaint

I purchased a LoJack system from Porsche Riverside on 8/24/2022, in the amount of $1,695.00 for a 60month term.The system stopped responding since September of 2023, and the last known locations was at ******* dealership in ******** CA.I've made several attempts to the system corrected through Spireon support. Each time i call i get a different response indicating someone from their installation team will contact me to schedule a service call to check the device. To Whom It May Concern,I have been calling, leaving messages, and emailing to cancel my LoJack since the day I bought my car. The app still shows my Equinox, which I sold in 2023, when I bought my ****. Now, I no longer have my ***** and no one is calling me back. I am requesting a full refund. Purchased Kia ***** in Feb 2023 with LoJack installed because of the high incidence of these cars being stolen. Car was stolen on 7/25/2024. Contacted LoJack and they cannot locate the car for some reason. Have called multiple times, they cannot determine what the issue is because the LoJack is and was installed and active. The accident was 2.17.2024. I had gotten the policy from the dealer 2 years before and renewed it for another 2 years.I called them and got the run around and was finally told they don't do refunds. I'm utterly disappointed with the service provided by LoJack. I paid for their service expecting to have the peace of mind that comes with knowing my vehicle would be protected. However, LoJack failed to deliver on their promises. Despite paying for their service, they never provided the protection they advertised.I entrusted them with the security of my vehicle, but it seems like they couldn't care less about fulfilling their end of the bargain. Not only did they fail to provide the service I paid for, but their customer support was also unhelpful and dismissive when I reached out to address the issue.Save yourself the frustration and avoid LoJack at all costs. It's unacceptable to take people's money and then not deliver on the service they paid for. My experience with LoJack has been nothing short of a waste of time and money. Purchased a truck thru **** dealership Oct 17th2023, with Lojack system as an add on. Dealership wouldn't take off. Lojack worked for 2 days. Tried to get app to work after 2 months of not updating information called customer service to cancel.We were told they would cancel effective Jan 6th ****. They would not cancel back to Oct. After 1 month no check recieved. Call back to check status. We were told we needed to go thru dealership for cancelation. Dealership said they can't cancel that lojack would have to do it. Called Lojack again they said they would call Dealership ************************************ -************. No call back after 4 business days. Called Lojack again . Customer service rep couldn't even find the case number and put me on hold. Said they were in *********** and we could hear kids crying, people laughing, people talking. Finally hung up.Lojack equipment not working and wanted us to take back to dealership for repairs but dealership repair department would take a couple of weeks for repair work and we didn't want to be without vehicle Would like to cancel system and get a refund.Initial Complaint

On 05/14/23 I purchased a new car and with this purchase I was marketed and sold the lojack. I purchased it because it sounded like a good investment for a new car within the area I reside. I wasn't informed or aware that a similar product already comes with the car unfortunately. I had the service installed 6/3/23 and by 7/18/23 I was finally reaching out for support as the device was not functioning properly. I eventually got a response and did all that was asked to no avail and my support ticket was closed though I still needed support. I once again tried to resolve the issues myself, but continued to have issues so I recently reached out via phone and email for support. I still to this day have never been contacted back via email and after the attempts at support via phone, I was told someone would get back to me within ***** hours as the issue was being escalated; it's been almost a month and said return phone call never happened. I again since have been attempting to troubleshoot on my own. At this point I'd prefer to remove the device and have the amount paid refunded to myslelf or my lien holder as this has been a stressful experience. It's extremely unhelpful and useless to have a non theft device on my vehicle that isn't even properly serving it's purpose and a support team given months to support and not doing so. I have 0 confidence in this device or team given the service and experience thus far.Initial Complaint

Saturday aug 19,2023 my husband ************************* and I purchased a truck at ***** **** in savannah *** It wasnt until we were there signing the loan documents did we find that the purchase also had a mandatory 1k additional package added on that included LoJack. It was not optional. We paid 600 dollars for this service with lojack that we did not want but had to get in order to purchase the vehicle. We have not been able to use the lojack and the customer service is non existent. I have been dealing with **** *************)who is supposedly a higher up person there and he is not doing what he promised to help get this resolved. We have waited weeks and have followed up repeatedly only to have them tell us they are working on it or will call us but never have had anything fixed. They admit there is an issue but have yet to send a tech to fix it. I have asked them to do this or return funds and have yet to get a response. Renewal payment for LoJack service was made online via the company website for my existing subscription on August 6, 2023. Contacted customer service August 8, 2023 when my account was not updated to reflect payment Case # ********.Followed up 9/1/2023 with still no case resolution. Per customer service representatives this is a known systemwide issue. Corporate decision maker is not responding to any customer service inquiries escalated by the initial customer service team members fielding calls.Renewal directly on the app is not available and company is sending emails to clients requesting renewal and collecting those funds with a weeks long known glitch not connecting those payments to the accounts. FYI Coincidentally I received another email from LoJack this morning requesting renewal payment.
