      We reviewed a threatening letter demanding full payment, yet there is no mention of what the payment is for or who is requesting the payment (for default). We owe no money to any party for a service that was completed and see this as an attempt to extort money.

      This collection agency is making attempts to collect a completely false debt. I have no existing or preexisting accounts ever associated with the company they are collecting for, supposedly being **** I have tried calling and was told dont worry about this which is a very odd answer and yet they still continue to harass me with letters and emails and text messages. This collection seems very much like an elaborate scam.

      This was a "credit inquiry on my credit report" by EGS credit service on Nov 08, 2021 and again on May 23, 2022 and I have not received any correspondence via US mail or phone contact with an explanation for these inquiries. I called them, they refuse to offer any information or a reason for the enquiry. My only debt is our home mortgage. My credit card balances are paid every month and never carry over to the next billing cycle...I have zero credit card debt and my present credit score is 216...Most likely, I'm wasting my time as these debt collectors are allowed free reign to check anyone's credit for no reason at their discretion with no notice, at any time.At the very minimum, EGS should provide in writing: Who-What-************* initiated the inquiry...This is a direct threat and invasion of my privacy under the 4th amendment of the Constitution of *****************....***************
