The McKinley Elevator Corporation has bilked me out of $5180.58. they have been to my home five times to repair my chairlift. Each time coming up with an excuse as to why the job they were hired for was not completed. Each time they came out, they told me that they needed to return after they ordered additional parts. They have left my chairlift inoperable. I need that lift for a hanicapped person in my home. They have supposedly ordered parts and they continually want me to keep paying them for more. The first time they came out it was $375.00, then *******, then a508.78, then *******. Now they want ******* more to supposedly complete the next fake repair. I need help with these shysters.

McKinley maintained our home elevator. Each time the tech comes and works on it e.g. adding oil, checking wires, valves and dent, etc. This time, the tech came 4 hours late, at arrival, i told the tech that the interior door of the elevator had broken so the elevator stopped moving. The tech came in opened up the elevator and looked for a few minutes and then just turned off the elevator. He told me that he had to go back to the shop to get a quote for the replacement. He could not apply any oil, etc.Right after that McKinley sent me an invoice for $350 for what they regularly charge for maintenance. My point is there was no maintenance done, The tech told me specifically he could not put any oil, check other things, and that we need to fix the door first!I told McKinley I refused to pay the invoice because there was not maintenance done at all. They said there was diagnostic but I told them I informed the tech about the problem. He just looked and was in my house for less than 15 minutes, did nothing else. They claimed they charge more expensive for service call. In any case, they did not do a thing other than opening up the elevator and turning it off.McKinley later sent me another quote for replace that cheap interior door and for replacement including labor, is $3,600. I already had it fixed the problem and no longer need these money sucker!

I have a serious complaint about this company's fraudulent act! They faked my signature and sent me an unreasonable bill to pay. When I contacted the accounts receivable representative, she was very arrogant and denied the fact. She even accused me of lying and used COVID as an excuse. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. If this company is really concerned about COVID, why don't they mandate their technicians to wear masks when they visit clients' homes? COVID is almost gone, and it's not authorized for them to fake my signature.I want to appeal their unreasonable bill for the following two reasons:The charges don't conform to the agreement. The service form listed a labor cost of $480 for the first hour and $209 for each additional hour. However, the bill I received charges $209 for each visit per hour and an additional $480 as a trip charge, which doesn't conform to the service agreement I signed initially. They charged for duplicated visits. They sent technicians three times, and the first two visits were duplicates. During the first visit, they found the issue and informed me that they needed to order parts from the manufacturer and would need a second visit. But during the second visit, a new technician came who didn't know what happened during the previous diagnosis. As a result, he repeated the first team's routine and diagnosed the same issue, requiring the same parts. From my understanding, these two visits were duplicates, and it's the company's fault for the terrible coordination and communication among their team members, which wasted both my time and money. I don't want to pay for the company's mistake.
