5 starsAbout a year ago I sought out reduce my debt before I retired. I was contacted by ********* from Liberty One Financial she walked me through the process step by step and sent me sample letters through email. She made so easy for me. She I could call her any for help. A year later she still there and always helpful. I dont usually give reviews but she and Liberty 1 Financial earned this one. 5 starsI applied for a loan at a few different financial institutions and ended up moving forward with Liberty1 Financial. They were very transparent along each step of the process and had a better rate than the other companies. When I 1st called Liberty 1 Financial I was skeptical because I received there loan offer out of no where in the mail. Then after calling in an speaking to ************* I realized calling that some people do care about what a client is going through. ************* made the whole process as simple as can be an I couldn't be more thankful for all his help. If anyone is looking for help when everyone else has said no I advise you to call him. I never leave reviews for a company but in this case I had to express my gratitude an thanks for all your help.Liberty1 Financial

1 starReceived a pre-approval letter in the mail called ************ spoke with a woman don't remember her name was transferred to *************************** at ************ spoke with him stating he represented this company took all my information including my SSN and did a soft inquiry. Stated he would follow up with me on any loan options to discuss before sending it to the underwriter in about 3 hours. Three hours passed and no call back. I called he answered stated he noticed someone else had called me and that he was on the other line with someone else and would call back in a few minutes. *************************** sounded paranoid. No one else called me nor spoke to me but him and now he never called back nor answering. BBB you need to do better!!! This apparently keeps being allowed to happen with the same pre-approval letters being sent out, the collecting of citizens personal information and then the business cease contact.Review fromWilliam M

They lie with a flyer implying you are preapproved. They use the word preselected instead so its misleading. I wanted to pay off two credit cards well short of what they offered. Got turned down. I make timely payments on those cards. So why wouldn't I make timely payments at a lower interest rate? This lender is no help at all.Liberty1 Financial

Hi ******* Im sorry to hear that you feel that you were misled. I want to make things 100% clear... you were not offered a "pre-approved" offer because you were not pre-approved...There are many factors that are considered for a loan approval including categories like income, current credit usage, length of credit etc.You received emails directly from the lenders we worked with to try to get you approved, and in each email it explains why you were not approved.I wish you the best of luck in finding a lender who will approve youReview fromJames C

Was sent a pre-approval letter and then rejected, I havent missed a payment in 20 years on anything. They dont want to give you a loan at ****%, like they said in their letter, they want to do a settlement that will negatively affect your credit for years!! Pre-approval my a$$.Liberty1 Financial

Hi ***** Im sad to hear that you feel we dont want to give you a loan.. when that is not remotely correct.The unfortunate part is that after submitting and reviewing your application, you did not meet the guidelines to receive a loan. Your excellent payment history makes up only a portion of your credit worthiness. another equally important factor is credit utilization; how much of your available credit you are using. Ideally lenders want to see that ratio under 30%.We coach clients all the time just like you who have made their payments on time for decades, yet still don't qualify for a loan on the likely reasons that they are not approved.I wish you the best on your search for a loan. 5 starsI had a great experience with this loan company. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, and they worked hard to find a loan solution that met my needs. They were also very transparent about the terms and fees associated with the loan. The process was quick and easy and I received the funds in a timely manner.
