  Very disorganized business. A company I was considering for employment used Hireright to hire their potential candidates. I had to correct hireright on several occasions throughout the entire process. Very simple paperwork and they just couldnt get right right or figure things out for themselves. To say this was a stressful process is an understatement. Highly recommend companys avoid outsourcing their hiring process to hireright

  Where do I start with this company its been 2 months to run a bg check and still waiting had to take 2 different drug test due to them losing the results the first time,Im at 91% for the last 2 weeks and there telling me there waiting on courts in ********** which Im from ** and never been to cali,called them 4 times already and get the same that their gonna expedite it and its gonna take 48 hours, had the new employer call the recruiter and gets the same run around this company is unprofessional and needs to complete my background it shouldnt take this long

  Thank you for your feedback. Most searches completed quickly but one is taking longer. Please note that background checks are not limited to ones home state. The remaining search is impacted by a ********** appellate court decision that has greatly limited the background check process, especially in some ********** jurisdictions. Processing time estimates rely upon the availability of a source. As a result of the appellate court ruling about access to court records, the courts are not allowing researchers access to complete date of birth on record indexes and have also removed other personal identifying information such as driver's license numbers. As a result of the removal of date of birth, some requests require clerk assistance to process. When clerk assistance is needed, the ETAs can exceed 45 days. The prospective employer has been informed about this delay. We look forward to the completion of your report as soon as we obtain the court records result.

  I understand it takes Some time but going on 3 months now to get criminal records for a state I dont or never lived in is ridiculous,specially when Ive already provided more then 7 years of employment in my home *********** that should prove that I didnt live in **********.What steps are being done to get back what ever info were waiting on from the clerk cause they had 2 1/2 months to get them back, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ASAP ITS BEEN MORE THEN ENOUGH TIME

  This company has no idea what they are doing. This is a good way to ruin peoples lives. I am working on the onboarding process for a new company and my background check through HireRight came back and reported I had been arrested and served 4 years in prison for the distribution of methamphetamines. I have never even been arrested. This company needs to be redirected in how to perform background checks or completely shut down. I am working on getting this HUGE mistake resolved in order to be able to start my employment. I pray they get this right.

  This company should be shut down completely. This is the second time I have had to get background clearance from them. And its taking forever. They put inaccurate information on your report. Putting court information and addresses on my report that I have never lived at. My start date for my new job has already been pushed back and now I have a week before my next start date and still my background isnt complete. EVERYTIME I call its a different answer. I even took the initiative and call the county courthouse and sheriff house where they verify backgrounds and they have no record of receiving anything from this company so where are they pulling the information from. This company needs to be shut down COMPLETELY!!!

  I have never had to jump through so many hoops ever in my life. I've provided W2S, paystubs, my COLLEGE DIPLOMA. EVERYTHING!! I've done plenty of background checks and NEVER had an issue. I gave them my ACTUAL W2 and somehow that still wasn't enough? It's like they want EVERYTHING and I'm not willing to give you access to my bank accounts and SSN. This is excessive. It's insulting. And it's seriously affecting my ability to put food on the table for my FAMILY. Fix this now.

  This company is a scam that seeks to steal identities. They are asking for check stubs and W2 forms for past employment. First of all , this is a criminal background check! This company has no right accessing all of my personal records that dont pertain to any court proceedings or arrest . I have a clean record and I dont appreciate this company treating people like trash . This company needs to be banned. This company is interfering with people getting hired!!

  This background check company made so many mistakes involving my identity. Checking court records for cities I never lived in. Wanting 1099's that didn't exist. I can't believe they get away with all do. I was trying to get a painting job but it felt like I was applying for the **** They should be ashamed of themselves for treating people like criminals. This company has no ethics. They need to be taken down by lawyers and law enforcement. Ruining peoples lives is not going to keep them in business.

  Worst company ever!!!!! It has taken over a month to get a background check back & still don't have it. We have contacted them multiple times and have been told that everything has been approved & they're just waiting for the report to be completed which will only be ***** hours but we still have nothing. My husband is at risk of losing his new job opportunity over this horrible company!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

  Worst company ever!!!! They shouldnt be doing any background checks as they really dont know what they are doing. They wanted me upload all my W-2 from my previous employers like 22 years.. I have never experienced this situation with any other background company.. Please stop doing Business since you definitely dont know what you are doing..
