    This company is one of the worst i think to exist. My mom bought a house and they made it the worst home buying experience for her and everyone involved. Dragged their feet for approval. Took forever. Would tell her shes approved then all of sudden they dont have things they need, or so they said. Asked for this they already had. Then when it came down to the wire, they denied because of a clerical issue THAT THEY CREATED. To the point where we are now out thousands of dollars because we had to scramble( because we also sold our home) to accommodate the mediocrity that is this company. This whole experience i had to witness was the absolute worst and its made me never want to go though this process myself. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE. This company is not it. I will make sure to let everyone i know to NEVER use this company. They are not it.

    Acra Lending is one mortgage lender that you have to be aware of! DO NOT USE THEM! I REPEAT! DO NOT USE THEM!!! They are very unethical in their practices and promise you certain things and dont deliver. The whole process was a nightmare from start to finish. I am a realtor and choose this company as I have had 2 mortgages with Citadel which Acra Lending is affiliated with. So when they sent a letter to refinance a home we bought on a high interest loan, I thought Id give them a try. They gave me a laundry list of things they needed to approve the loan and gave them the what they requested in a timely manner but then they needed more items and more items and alot of the items were so ***** you wondered who was requesting them! this went on for 4 months. in the end, I had to sell a rental property to refinance the home( which I did, sold in 1 week, closed in 2) and it still took them 3 extra months, in the meantime, I was paying a high interest and extension fees which amounted to $40K in the end. I also had locked in in the beginning of my loan nightmare process, at a lower interest rate but in the end they hiked it up a point and a 1/2 and they kept changing the rate. Finally I asked to speak to a manager, she was also worthless! In the end, I had to come up with $20K at closing and even though they requested all our debt information,to be paid from proceeds of the sale of my rental, in the end only a few items were paid and I still had to bring money to escrow! Due to their very high fees!I felt I was taken advantage of! I REPEAT STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are scam artist
