This Company told me they were in charge of my mortgage and that they gave me a loan for my home mortgage, for a certain amount which indicated, to me personally, that I HAD to pay THEM back. I handed over my Social Security number when they demanded it and any other personal information. But in fact, they AREN'T handling my mortgage; they were trying to sell something! *************** They didnt mention that. It was very sneaky like you should have been told this not this is what we could offerThey had been reaching out by email as soon as we bought our house, three or four months ago from today. Because of their quick and aggressive marketing, they portray that they are associated with the mortgage company we used. It is very misleading and pry for sensitive information. They are not who they say they are by putting up this front of not stating who their company is. Tried calling back after I had given my details and the had denied my calls EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Multiple times. They are trying to scam and take advantage of people by not saying who they really are and by asking for personal information. Not a company that should be handling ************** or WHATEVER if they cant be professional enough to give me the name of their company and or answer their phone calls; especially given a hard situation like this. Person associated with this company **** **** - ************** *************************** Planning number ********* Associates number is *****************

I'm very sorry to hear about your issues.  The company you're referencing is not our company.  We are not in the insurance business.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I have added proof of the mailing I have been receiving from this company for weeks. claiming they own my mortgage. But they in fact do not.

I will wait for the business to perform this action.

Will I hear back with the outcome?

      Regards,

      ****** ********

On the morning of August 22, 2023 I began to receive calls from numerous **********-based telephone numbers. After the first call, there was a voicemail left from a live caller, allegedly from American Heritage Lending, calling to inquire about an information request I'd put into their online portal. I have put in no request for information from them, so I initially ignored the call. The calls continued throughout the day, with numerous individuals leaving voicemails as well as one sending me a text message. I then Googled the company to get their telephone number, which was the business's ************ number. I called, and asked a man picked up identifying the company. I asked if the individual who had called and left the most current message did indeed work there. The worker confirmed it was a worker there who was "a few seats down" from him. I let him know I had not made any inquiries in their company's portal and asked them to crease any further calling. Unfortunately, calls from the company have persisted throughout the day. I have received two additional calls and an additional voicemail from the company. So far, today only, I have received 8 phone calls, four voicemails, and a text message. The company continues to call with the claim they are trying to "follow-up" on an inquiry I never placed.

As a consumer I would never recommend this company. I know a lot of brokers use them and it might be unusual to hear from a consumer that has had first hand experience with their company and underwriting. In June I got introduced to ***************************** because my loan broker wanted me to work directly with underwriting to get my loans closed. I was told that American Heritage would have to do both of my homes or none at all. They then only did one loan, taking me from a nice 4% rate to a ****% rate and sent me a denial letter on the second loan (which is my primary residence) that they let me stay in at 14% rate! Their fabricated denial letter said "Credit reasons." Then when I told them I was going to complain to the Attorney General about their company, ***************************, Senior VP, Operations reached out to me and told me a different reason for not refinancing my 14% rate loan and doing the bait a switch from my 4% to ****% loan. Her reasoning was a loan modification in January of 2022 stating my current loan was not my primary residence. Additionally, they did not do my payoff in June like they said. And because they used a processing company it is now showing a 30 day delay, (in which I have never been late) That mistake caused me to now be disqualified from getting lending from ****************** or ****** ***. This company is a BAIT and SWITCH company. Keeping customers in toxic loans and taking them out of good loans at good rates so they can line their own pockets. Horrible ethics. Consumers Beware.
