After the painting was completed at our unit, weve noticed the following problems: White paint on the garage concrete entry White paint on our trash can Sticks used to stir paint and debris scattered everywhere Corner of our welcome mat cut White paint on our front door entryway Tools left behind in various areas ******* screen has been ripped White paint on our newly painted deck White paint on our carpet Pillars not fully painted White paint all over our entry light Front door painted wrong color Based on the lack of preparation and care, it seems these issues stem from the crew neglecting to tape off areas or properly clean up after themselves. Additionally, I suspect this might also be retaliation for a prior concern I raised with their supervisor about them blocking my truck. The employees on site are down right hostel and have yelled at many of the home owners here. They are constantly blocking vehicles in and parking in the fire lanes where it is clearly marked not to park. They are destroying. our community.

In 2022, Emprireworks was contracted to finish deck sealing on behalf of ************************* for ************** in ***************. They resealed the second story deck and have at least 3 instances of leaks after their work where no leak occurred prior. My unit on the 1st floor has now had 2 drywall repairs and water damage mitigation due to their workmanship. A third is now needed and we can't open our patio door which opens up to a deck that oversees the creek (one of the main draws of the property). This has been 2 years. The main contractor has had sporadic contact, but no definitive answer to the problem. At least 2 phone calls to their nationwide support line with promise of a VP or other call back has been ignored. I just want to restore my unit to original condition prior to this company's involvement.

      Hello ****,

I wanted to express our sincere apologies at the frustrating nature of this issue. When originally contracted, we performed a limited repair which has not addressed the issue in its entirety. We plan to meet with the *** board this Friday May 17th to discuss options and we will need their go ahead on whichever solution is determined best.

We should have an update early next week.

You can also communicate directly with myself as I work with our local teams to resolve challenges.

EmpireWorks worked on my balconies sliding doors do to the rain we have experience in the month of December ************************ regards of water leak. They have refused to accept responsibility and have not done **************. This has caused a significant amount of damage and it will cost me more than what I had already paid for this company to do their job now to have a professional repair the existing damage on both balconies I have to pay out of packet. They have failed to provide a satisfying response of explanation of why the repair have not yet been done they have offer temporary repairs meaning they are leaving the problem even though they had collected payment for for their jobs. I had paid my own inspections on which I have provided them with the property repair according to code they have not attempted to complete or come in to an agreement of resolution to this issue

Our VP of the region is aware of this issue and is actively working on resolving the matter. His name is ***************************** and he is working with the HOA's community manager as well as the construction manager. We have alerted the homeowner that once the rains cease, we can open up a piece of the drywall to further investigate how to permanently resolve the leak.

      Customer Answer

We accept the Business Response as only a first step toward resolving the issue.
Until we have received a detailed written commitment from them about what they will do to permanently correct the problem, cover the costs of the  internal water damage to our home, and document how our sliders will be rendered waterproof, our complaint cannot be considered resolved.
We are pleased that they have responded so promptly and look forward to working cooperatively with them through this process, but without commitments in writing this issue will remain a work in progress.
